have you ever noticed how many flowers are at a funeral? people go out of their way to put things so beautiful on something as ugly and sad as death. all kinds of bouquets and arrangements and wreaths everywhere.. especially lillies. you know, the lily is the funeral flower. it’s supposed to symbolize the innocence in a soul departed. when i see the lillies at a funeral, and when i stand there watching.. i can’t help but think.. lillies aren’t the only funeral flower anymore.
