AND ONE LAST PROFOUND POPPINS THOUGHT

So my followers may have seen that three weeks ago, my brother’s mother-in-law passed away. I took care of my nieces during the services and feel like I didn’t get a chance to properly mourn her-not wanting to show my sadness to my nieces, brother, and my mom who is now my nieces remaining “Gramma”.

I realized, once the song turned to singing about the lost Banks mother, that my comfort came from a completely extraordinary and appropriate source: Mary Poppins. My words of comfort, and safe place I could bawl and not feel imposing, ended up being in the Warwick Rhode Island cinema. And now these lyrics will forever be tied to her memory:
