where this bugs me is the repetition of the idea that "scientists" are hidebound and uncreative, unable to comprehend anything that doesn't conform to a specific idea of categorization -- when this is fundamentally untrue! we know perfectly well what a "fish" is. the fact that it's a paraphyletic group is only confounding to pop science, as a funny factoid, not to anyone who actually understands what a paraphyletic group is.

Really glad the agere community is shifting to be more accepting of padded regressors. For the longest time, it was an immediate indicator of kink instead of regression, but I think that's pretty dumb– especially considering incontinence is one of the most common results of sexual assault, which is one of the most common traumas resulting in a person coping with age regression.

just because an agere dynamic is sfw doesn't mean it can't be extremely unhealthy!!

in a lot of cg/little dynamics, there is a big power imbalance - it makes sense in the headspace, it can make the regressor feel safe and cared for, looked after like a little kid. still, this has a huge potential for abuse: please look after yourselves!! you should not be dependent on your cg, feel like they have more power/rights than you, or need their permission for things. yes, some of this can happen if you've talked about it, but it shouldn't be what the dynamic is focused on or a baseline!!

also, dear minor regressors: i know there aren't a lot of underage cgs, and i know that two or three years don't feel like a lot, but please please please don't pick an adult cg. especially if you're under 16, that should not be happening. i am not saying that an 18+ (as in age, not nsfw) cg would have bad intentions, but it does add to the power imbalance.
