My thoughts on the talent show.. of course it was boring. I just sped through it most of the time. Hamish looked cute with the dog ears, but hhh the dog training part was so weird wtf. I was so shocked like.. 😧😧😧 I mean I think the writers thought it was funny, I guess? I had secondhand embarrassment for Lyn and Hamish, watching it unfold. 😂
The romantic gesture was uh.. it was cute? But.. paper airplanes again?? Really??? And the stuff that LI likes about MC are uh.. I swear they're so banal. I think it was just the merging personality thing because if it was specific for the LI, Hamish's writings on the papers would be something about their whacky shenanigans like the popcorn thing, their random banters and MC being someone that he feels safe to open up to-- not these generic-ass compliments. But yeah, I guess they were lazy to write something that isn't applicable for ALL the LIs 🤷🏻♀️
Eddie is still Eddie. I ignored his stinky cheese hair in all the episodes.
Now, I have to talk about the worst part of it all. I don't wanna be fucking reminded of the Sienna thing. It's sooooooo lame. The devs probably thought "oh we're going to make it seem like the s8 thing again where the LI comes in with Sienna BUT the twist is it's actually BELLA who is just the host! No one would expect that! We're going to sUbVeRt their expectations!” All I felt during that part is please get this over with. I don't need this. Get me outta here. End my misery 😭😭😭
Though.. I kinda wish they revealed more about our LI's birth chart. I was actually very curious and that was the only thing that piqued my interest.
Welp.. at least my mc Lyn and Hamish are finally and officially together. That cliffhanger tho ahaha.. just let Lyn say yes already gdi.
It's Season Finale next week. After that, goodbye forever LITG. I still might think about you from time to time. I still might draw something when I get nostalgic, but I will stay away from the game for good.
edit: I forgot to mention that I also hate how they brought Angie into it. What do you mean she and Sienna are besties? SHE WAS MY S4 MC'S BESTIE!! AND SIENNA AS MAID OF HONOUR OVER HER OWN SISTERS??? WHAT DO YOU MEANNN??? Sienna wtf stop stealing everyone. Your birth chart must be so whack 😭

also I just wanna gush about the demisexual representation in this week's release.. and it's my main man Avi. I love him so much and even more finding out I can relate to him. I am on the ace spectrum and tbh my struggle with dating games (like litg and other 'western' dating sim) is the sexual part. I mean I just try to make a character that is not me, so I play the game roleplaying as them.
lol his reason for joining makes sense to me coz I know if I hypothetically join THTH it would be easy for me not to spend any money too.. when he said that I was like lol bro same wtf😂😂😂

There were a lot of cute moments with the LI.. they were probably shared lines, but still they were dorky (compliment) enough that I will just imagine that it's just Hamish.
The eliminated guy shared some info about the LI of your choice (behind a paywall ofc), and I relate with Hamish on the part about building up walls because of feeling misunderstood, and feeling like it's hard to fall in love with someone because of that. (idk if this was a shared description for all the LIs so looool)
Eddie, of course, is being a pot-stirring gremlin, as expected. There is no redeeming that guy, unless you wanna do the burn the villa route probably. He dared to make Hamish doubt about Lyn's intentions b r o.. Anyways, Lyn just kept dodging and ignoring all the drama that was happening. Her eyes are just fixed on Hamish and waiting for their turn to be an official couple lol. My unbothered queen.
Also, Natasha was dropping all the facts at the girls' choice dumping. My bestie 💜 ... Tbh I wish there was an option for my mc to say, you know what guys, fuck the rules and let's all vote for Eddie to be dumped. It would've been satisfying. (then my mc ends up being single loool.. still it would've been amazing to have that guy kicked out now)
Man it's already the final recoupling next volume.. I kind of feel mixed-up about it. Too much stuff going on in the latest volumes, and it feels really rushed in a way. But I'm also kinda relieved it will be over soon 😂
You know the thing about Hamish? He’s like an ogre - he’s got layers like an onion. Like, he’s all cocky and braggy with a posh exterior, then you take the wrapper off and it’s all just a front - he’s actually kinda repulsive and cringy. Then you dig deeper and he’s actually just an oddball who’s obsessed with bacon. And then underneath that is actually a guy who doesn’t know what he’s doing whatsoever - he doesn’t know how to talk to people, how to flirt, what to say and when to bite his tongue, he’s just trying to figure it out like an alien first time setting his foot on earth. And underneath that is actually a tender soul who just wants to be loved for who he is, but maybe thinks he’s not worth it all, and you just wanna sit beside him, put your head on his shoulder, maybe grab his hand, maybe reassure him that he’s not just a “loverat”, maybe just say he can be loved. And maybe actually you can be the one to love him
Okay, some initial thoughts about the latest litg volume..
I expected the steal, so I'm not too shaken by it. Eddie was the one who stole Lyn in my playthrough. I chose him when mc was asked because he was messy and I wanna check out if he is still going to be, and of course he ends up bringing more drama first thing he pulled Lyn for a chat 😂... My girl didn't care for it though so she refused to help him.
Well, basically, even if Hamish and Lyn weren't 'officially' coupled up, they already are. To hell with the show's rules 😔 .. lol they sure did the freaky in the daybeds, not even Jude get to have it in the hideaway or at any other opportunities so ahahaha
I think this volume is a bit meh, even if I do get to have more Hamish time.. which is great ofc coz he was stinking cute wtf. Just that it felt short yet long at the same time(?).. like a lot of things were happening, but also it felt like I just sat and sped through it... or I might just be tapping on too fast ahahahaha
it's still weird being picked for the Zeph trio date when you choose to snog someone else 😂
random nit-pick.. i swear litg's description game when it comes to the spicy scenes feels iffy and i roll my eyes every time they put tongues dancing ... i hate it so much ahshshsa.. my brain just gives me the mental image of tongues actually dancing ahahshsh.. and yeah i get it my guy has toned body and muscular arms, im kinda sick hearing(reading) about it.. maybe i am just used to the well-written descriptions from otome games i have played. i've been treated well. i just have to look at litg like i'm consuming junk food from time to time 😂
if i say "i imagine" or "i think" in regards to my ocs its because i dont knowwwwww. theyre living their own lives im just filming them at occasional moments and calling it a day
I only fully came back to it recently since I had difficulty with being invested with seasons 4 to 8. I tried playing through them, but I never got attached to any of the LIs. Even if I am enjoying the current season despite its flaws, I don't think I could keep supporting Fusebox.
It just doesn't hit as it used to, so I think it is my time to let go of the game for good.
