my friend cooked up such a good idea yesterday
her fav horizon franchise character is Elisabet Sobeck (rightfully so) and said, “yknow what? Lis should have her own game, like her own prequel game to the actual horizon franchise where Aloy is the main character”
I took a sec to process this and then my brain exploded this would be shxh a good jdea
getting insight into Lis’s life, how she even came to be because wow that’s a child prodigy, a buncha lore on her and when she worked under faro then switching to making Miriam tech, flying out to whatever summit/conference meetings and presenting those speeches on her craft, her lore w/ tilda and how her relationship really was from her perspective (not just what tilda tells Aloy in hfw), her reaction to the faro plague (GAH it would be so freaking cool to go into the big faro tower building but seeing it all like normal and not abandoned and the same conversation w/ faro play out but not as a holo from hzd)
anyways uh gg should cook this up instead of their Fortnite horizon game thanks for coming to my ted talk

Aloy is absolutely that one friend you ask to help move, will leave you on read, and then show up on unannounced with boxes and an unmarked moving van(you don't know how she got and she only shrugs when you ask).

After the sudden announcement of Horizon Steel Frontiers just two days ago, new details about the mobile game are emerging. Some seems like good news, such as they're still working on player character customization so hopefully the final product won't be the bland pretty doll look that we saw in the alpha-build footage of the trailer.
IGN has interviewed Horizon Steel Frontiers developer NCSoft to find out more about the surprise PC and mobile - but not PlayStation - MMORP
But then also comes the reveal that the studio partnering with Guerrilla to make this game, NCSOFT, used extensive AI to create Steel Frontiers, "from coding to art". Perhaps there will be more details to give context to how AI was used but, given the backlash Guerrilla and Sony got to the AI Aloy that got leaked a few months ago, I'm sure fan reaction to this news will not be good (I know it's making me hesitate now when I was initially excited to play an online Horizon with friends).
Along with its own use of AI for game development, NCSoft also noted that we should prepare to see AI used a lot more in the industry.
