Great outdoor terrace at bistro-restaurant LES TROIS GARÇONS

The place is always packed, specially on weekends but a fast and friendly service keeps the wait to a minimum. 

Food is typically french bistro with red meats, salads, one or two pasta dish and one fish on the menu (changes daily). The best part is the huge terrace, perfect for summer! I recently went there and had a big entrecôte steak with fries and a glass of their decent house red. I tried the nutella and speculoos tiramisu for dessert... delicious!

Paris Agricultural show till March 4th, 2012

Every year, thousands of cows, sheeps, pigs and other farm animals make the journey from all parts of France to be on show at this very popular week-long fair. 

Aside from the livestock, you can taste regional products from all over France and buy direct from the local owner (cheese, wine, ham, saucisson and more). Many free tastings and cooking demonstrations are organized throughout the event.

Montmartre vineyard's harvest week

Did you know there are vineyards on the hills of Montmartre in Paris?

This week has been harvest time and now it's time to celebrate with events scheduled all this weekend. There's an apéro-zouk (drinks with a Caribbean flair) everyday at 7pm on rue du Simplon.

Classic Parisian flare at le Bistro de la Grille

I went there last week and had a lovely time, soaking the sun on the terrace. I recommend the terrine de poisson (cold fish terrine cooked with Mediterranean veggies) as a starter and the incredible clafouttis with cherries for dessert. There a good selection on the carte (menu) and different dishes every day on the ardoise (the black board).

count about 20€ for lunch and 30-40€ for dinner.
