Y’all mass hysterical hoarders really going to hospitals to STEAL antiviral masks and sanitizers now??? FUCKING CHILL. WASH YOUR FUCKING HANDS.

We’ve had to HIDE masks in the triage area of the ED I work at because patients were literally REACHING OVER AND AROUND US to take them, despite us telling them that they don’t need any. People are stealing from legitimately sick patients and healthcare providers out of ignorance.

This shit is getting ridiculous.

Masks in our trust are now kept under lock and key behind the main desk even in the inpatient wards ‘cos so many get nicked when patients are discharged.

The only hand sanitiser still found around the hospital are in the dispensers that are literally bolted onto the walls.

And even then, I’ve seen enough patients pottering around re-filling bottles from them, and half are empty.

People. Just wash your hand. Please.

Oh. This is the reason all the bed-end hand sanitizers were taken away (Hopefully not stolen).

Please don’t steal from hospital. Use it whilst you are here, but we need this equipment to do our jobs.

The studyblr I am: a mess™, trying to revise for two exams at the same time by watching a streetcar named desire on Netflix while hastily scribbling down biology notes, binge watches shows which leads to a last minute cram session and breakdown, last exercised maybe two years ago, “is it too early for bed yet” -said at 7pm
