Gogo walked back to her bike with a warm, fuzzy feeling in her chest. She liked Honey. She really liked Honey. But of course she would never admit that to herself because Gogo Tomago doesn't do feelings, especially if those feelings are falling in love with her best friend. Gogo doesn't need a girlfriend, she doesn't need anyone because she's independent, but a little tiny part of her brain wonders what it would be like to be with someone like that, caring for each other, knowing that your each others number one. Gogo shakes her head, she can care for herself she doesn't need anyone else doing that for her, she needs to stop indulging in such ridiculous daydreams, they're definitely not going to help her pass her grade.
Gogo went back to working on her bike with her headphones blaring music and shutting the rest of the world out, just how she liked it. For a few hours it was just her and her bike, nothing else, however her mind eventually got bored and started drifting to some not so family friendly fantasies that may or may not of involved a certain chemist. As her mind played the scene in her head, she started feeling a tingling sensation down there. She couldn't even lie to herself, she was definitely enjoying the fantasy and even considering locking the door to her lab and so she could calm the heat coming from her womanhood but that plan got thrown out the window when the star of her wet dream poked her head through the door.
Jumping back from her bike, Gogo's whole face when bright red, it's embarrassing enough being caught while daydreaming about something inappropriate, but, no, Gogo had to get caught by the very person who she was dreaming about. She stood there awkwardly wondering if Honey Lemon knew she was thinking about her but Honey didn't even notice how awkward Gogo was
"Hey, I just wanted to let you know that I'm going home now and, um, if your going to, um, stay any longer?" Honey hesitated, she didn't want to seem like she was asking Gogo to walk home with her even though that's what she wanted
Gogo let out a small sigh of relief, at least Honey didn't seem to notice her embarrassment but she wasn't ready to spend some one-on-one time with her, part of her mind was still stuck on the fantasy.
"Uh, yeah, I'm probably going to stay a while, I'll see you at home though"
"Ah, ok, see you then" Honey visibly deflated a bit, but left and closed the door behind her nonetheless
Collapsing on a chair nearby, Gogo felt relived that Honey had left and been none the wiser about Gogo's thoughts but she also felt frustrated. Why is she thinking about her best friend like that? That's how friendships get ruined and she would hate to not be friends with Honey. Gogo audibly groans in frustration, she probably just needs to get off, but she can't go home because Honey's there and that still feels a little weird, doing it in the lab would be unprofessional but, honestly, Gogo doesn't care at this point she just needs a good wank. Just as she's about to lock the door Tadashi comes in
"Hey Gogo, have you finished the assignment?"
Gogo looks pissed, why can't people just let her get off today?
"Whoa, bad time?" Tadashi notices how annoyed Gogo looks
"Yeah" She grumbles hoping he'll leave and she can get on with her plans but of course not because today everything seems to be against her having some fun.
"Wanna talk about it?" He offers while walking further into the room
"No but you're not going to leave till I talk about it" Gogo plopped down on her chair accepting her fate
"Yup, so spill, why are you so annoyed? Is it about the assessment?" Tadashi sits in a chair facing Gogo. He knows Gogo tends to get really worked up about things and bottle all her feelings in which makes her too distracted to work on her assignments and that only adds to the problem, so he's started trying to get Gogo to talk about her feelings more
"It's not the assessment" Gogo starts swaying side to side on her chair
"Ok, then what's bothering you?" Tadashi asks
Gogo doesn't reply, not because she's being rude but because she doesn't know how to say it
"The faster you say, the faster I'll leave you alone"
"Fine, I am just having a bad day" Gogo tells him
"And what happened to make it a bad day" He asks
"Just...stuff"
Tadashi stays silent, to see if she will explain what 'stuff' is bothering her. Gogo considers telling him about Honey Lemon, knowing Tadashi he wouldn't tell anyone else, unlike Fred or Wasabi they were both blabber-mouths. Eventually Gogo decides 'fuck it' and tells him
"Its about Honey"
"Honey did something to upset you?" Tadashi's shocked, that doesn't sound like Honey Lemon at all, she does her best to make sure everyone is happy
"What? No, its me, I kinda feel things towards her" Gogo mumbles wanting the ground to open up and swallow her
It takes Tadashi a minute to process what Gogo has just said, she just admitted to liking Honey Lemon, Gogo the girl who never had a crush before liked her best friend and she just told Tadashi. He was so happy to have finally gotten Gogo, the queen of having no feelings, to talk about her feelings.
"Thats great, aww you guy would look so cute together"
"No, not cute, I need to stop liking her" Gogo states
"What? Why?" Tadashi asks
"Because, I can't like my best friend, that would ruin our whole friendship" Gogo explains
"No it wouldn't"
"Yes it would"
"No, it wouldn't" Tadashi wants Gogo to allow her feelings rather than push them away " Honey would never stop being friends with you, plus you never know, she might like you"
"No way, she doesn't" Gogo refuses to even consider the thought
"You'll never know unless you speak to her" Tadashi prompts
"I am not doing that" Gogo states bluntly
"Oh, I got it!"
"Got what?" Gogo asks looking sceptical
"What if I ask Honey if she like you, then if she says no you can do your weird little thing of repressing your feelings but if she says yes then you can ask her out, it's fool proof" Tadashi explains with a smug smile
"That's stupid" Gogo says but internally considers it, it sounds like it could work
"Think about it before you cross it off" Tadashi pleads
"I did and I think it's dumb" The more she thinks about it, the more she wants to try it
"Come on, lets just try"
"Fine, you can try ask her" Gogo relents "But don't make it obvious why your asking"
"Yes! This is gonna be great, I can't believe I'm about to set up my friends together, I feel like a match maker"
"Whoa, slow your roll, your not setting anyone up, your just asking Honey a question, got it?"
"Yes, yes, got it" Tadashi gets up from his chair "I'll ask her tomorrow, ah this is going to be so fun"
"Yeah, whatever" Gogo mumbles partially regretting her choice
Tadashi leaves Gogo's lab feeling excited to be able to help his friend. He has a feeling that things are going to work out for Honey and Gogo.
Gogo goes home shortly after Tadashi leaves, her mind too preoccupied with thoughts of how tomorrow will go to worry about her previous plans. When she gets home Honey Lemon is lightly snoring on her bed, she must of dozed off as she was reading because she still had her glasses and a book Infront of her. Gogo gently takes her glasses and book and puts them on her bedside table, she gazes at Honey Lemon, she looks so at peace, it fills Gogo's whole body with such warmth and comfort, she wishes she could crawl into bed with her but she can't. With a deep sigh Gogo retreats to her own room and quickly passes out on her bed.
Honey lemon at her desk working on a project when Gogo poked her head through the door
'Hey Honey, I'm going to Noddle burger to get lunch do you want me to get you anything?' Gogo asked leaning on the door frame
' Oh sure, get me whatever your getting, thanks.' Honey replied looking at Gogo who was chewing on her pink bubble-gum.
'Ok, see ya.' Gogo said leaving honey lemon thinking about her.
Recently, Honey lemon has started to something towards Gogo, she didn't know what but she just felt like she wanted to be with Gogo all the time and get lost in her magnetic eyes. Honey started to daydream about her and Gogo and what it would be like if they went to the movies together and how Gogo would fall asleep on Honeys shoulder and how cute Gogo must look when she's sleeping since she's already so cute when she's awake.
Her daydream was interrupted by the girl she was thinking about.
Gogo walked in holding a paper noodle burger bag.
'Hey, here's your noodle burger' Gogo handed Honey lemon the bag
'Also I, uh, got you some stickers because I know you like them' Gogo blushed as she handed Honey Lemon some bunny stickers
'Awwww, thank you there soo adorable, I love them' Honey squealed, pulling Gogo into a hug.
'It was nothing' Gogo said blushing even more after the hug
They stood there staring at each other for a few seconds, both blushing profusely.
'Anyway, I'll go, uh, work on my bike now' Gogo said slowly moving back to her bike
'yeah same, well, uh, not my bike because I don't, heh, have, uh, a bike, uh, but you know, hehe' Honey stuttered
'Oh god, she probably already knew what I meant, why did I have to stutter so bad?' she thought mentally kicking her self for being so awkward. She looked at the stickers once more and her heart felt warm.
Honey quickly gets lost in her work again, there was something so fascinating about mixing substances together, seeing all their different reactions. She especially like the explosive ones, sure, they were messy but nothing says fun more than an explosion.
Hours pass by but she doesn't even notice, too consumed by her task until she looked up and saw the sun long gone. She cleaned up her workspace and an idea stuck her. What if she asked Gogo to walk home together? Despite living with each other they rarely ever walked home together, one of them always ended up staying late at the labs. But maybe if Honey outright asked her then they could walk home today and who knows. walking home together might become a regular thing. 'It would be so cute' Honey thought 'Just two best friends spending more time with each other'. It was the perfect plan, so making sure all her equipment was away Honey made her way towards Gogo's lab.
Horrid Henry x Alvin (from Alvin and the chipmunks)
***********
Henry had just been sent outside by his parents for making fun of his little brother, Peter, once again. He had been saying something about Peter being a girl, which he does almost everyday but his parents still sent him outside with a 'don't be so horrid Henry.'
He was kicking a stone around his garden, trying to entertain himself when something heavy landed on his head. It slid off and Henry reached up to catch it.
It was a... chipmunk? Wearing a red hoodie? What?
Henry stares at it, completely flabbergasted, a chipmunk just fell into his hand, what the hell?
The chipmunk stated to move about in his hand and pulled himself upright using Henry's thumb to steady himself. All Henry could do was watch in shock as the little critter patted down his red hoodie and looked directly into his eyes.
"Sorry 'bout that." The chipmunk says in a squeaky voice. "Slippery branches, you know? Anyway, I'm Alvin." The chipmunk, Alvin, reaches out his paw for a handshake - pawshake?
Henry hesitantly shakes Alvin's tiny paw with his index finger. "I'm Henry, Horrid Henry."
"Horrid Henry huh? And what makes you so horrid, Henry?" Alvin tilts his head to the side giving Henry a once over.
"Well I'm horrid, I bully my little brother, Perfect Peter, and me and my friend Rude Ralph always make fun of Moody Margaret," He takes a pause to catch his breath, "And I'm an epic prankster." Henry smiles smugly, proud to list all his horrible qualities.
"Prankster huh? I'm a bit of a prankster myself." Alvin crosses his arms, pretending to asses Henry but deep down, he felt excited to finally meet a fellow joker.
"Have you ever put the salt in the sugar shaker?" Henry asks, trying to gauge how good of a prankster Alvin was.
"Who hasn't?" Alvin shrugs like that was a universal prank.
Henry's impressed. "What about placed creepy crawlies on their bed?"
"Classic." Alvin grins.
"I like you Alvin." Henry give a nod of approval.
"I like you Henry." Alvin copy's his movements. They both know this is the beginning of something good.
From then and on, Horrid Henry and Alive would meet up once a week and take turns helping each other torment their families with epic pranks, each one more outlandish than the last.
