—Do Jews have monks? —Yes. I’m one now.

“Just ‘cause you got a scholarship, doesn’t mean you gotta give him unfettered access to your dick.”
the funniest thing about the History Boys is that it has homophobia like you would expect of a movie that takes place in the 80′s but instead of being like “ew Posner is in love with Dakin? that’s disgusting” it’s more like “wow Posner is in love with Dakin? That’s so funny. He’s super out of your league king” and meanwhile Dakin is off asking out their male history teacher who says yes

“Yes, it’s only a phase. Who says I want it to pass?”
hello I know this blog has been dead for ages but I just watched THB again and now I'm sad again so how is everyone doing
so uuuuh fun fact I! kinda go by Oscar now so I thought I should let everyone know that. that's all, have a good day!
“The best moments in reading are when you come across something — a thought, a feeling, a way of looking at things — that you’d thought special, particular to you. And here it is, set down by someone else, a person you’ve never met, maybe even someone long dead. And it’s as if a hand has come out and taken yours.”

the way straight people consume gay centric media just leaves me absolutely fucking baffled sometimes. like, don't get me wrong, I'm well aware that Dakin/Irwin is very very questionable but then I read stuff like "Dakin spends most of the play imitating his mentors, but when he finds out that Irwin's been lying about Oxford he realises that they're only human, and him confronting Irwin about it is proof of the fact that he's finally acting for himself. which is why when thirty seconds later he asks Irwin out he's only mirroring Irwin's own attraction to him" and all of a sudden I want to kill a man
I'm feeling ~the vibes~ so pls send me headcanons about what the boys do for Christmas
