Hmm, thinking of an angstier version of dragon Celine where they both are together and has Rumi. Something ticked off the Ryu kingdom in regard to their lost princess and had dispatched many hunters towards Celine's home.
Rumi was 10 years old when the bad people came and took Miyeong away. She tried to protect her eomma but was flung by them, as if she's just a small lizard. Celine had fought as best as she can, rage in her blood when they're taking Miyeong away. As well as seeing the brutes hurting their daughter. However, due to her rage, she failed to sense the weapons used by the hunters are no ordinary weapons. The hunters managed to cut off Celine's ability to breathe fire and stab her through her chest. She crumpled to the ground and that's all Miyeong can see as she gets carried away against her will.
Dragon!Celine tried to crawl towards her, but the poison had taken root. The last thing Miyeong had seen before she was knocked unconscious is Celine crawling towards her in her pool of blood, with mournful wail and their daughter who was flung away.
Miyeong who had fought against everything was eventually made to forget about her life with Celine and Rumi. She is now an obedient daughter of the Ryu family, just as she is meant to be. She still has glimpses of memories dreams and it's nice. She is then married off to a well known king to solidify the Ryu's kingdom name.
Meanwhile, Rumi has been taking care of Celine who is still weak from the poison. Thankfully, she had help from her imugi uncle, Third and the villagers who had learned of the tragedy. When she's alone, Rumi would curl into herself, thinking if she had been stronger and bigger, she could have protected her eomma, And her umma wouldn't be suffering. She swore that she would find her eomma and bring her home when she's older.
She got her uncle and the local weapon master to train her. As much as they tried to dissuade her, Rumi is stubborn. They eventually gave up and trained her. The imugi uncle had pulled Third aside and asked her to keep an eye on Rumi. Third promises.
When Rumi got older, she told Celine about her plan. Celine wanted to follow Rumi to find Miyeong, but the damn poison is still in her blood. She had begged Rumi to not go alone. She can't lose another family. As much as it pained Rumi to leave her umma, she wants to do it. To really hammer it down, what if umma needs help? Reluctanly, Celine let's her. With a promise that Rumi keeps her dragon side hidden. The world beyond the valley still has skewed concept towards dragons and Celine can't lose her dragonling to hunters/people.
The day Rumi leaves their home comes. Before she leaves, she gives Celine a gentle head nuzzle and promises she'll be back with Miyeong.
Skipping ahead bcs it's the good shit. Miyeline reunion after a hard fought battle to get to Miyeong. That all it takes for Miyeong's memory to come back, is Celine being there in person and cupping her cheek:
Zoey got excited thinking I was touching myself under the covers. Really I was just opening a choco pie i didn't want to share...I love my girlfriend, but she doesn't need a bite of everything I eat. I'm allowed to be a little selfish sometimes!

She got mad at me and sulked about it the whole day. She said she’d forgive me ONLY if I buy her Choco Pies for the rest of our lives. And also demanded that if I was ever having fun by myself, I'd have to wake her up so she could watch.
Can you believe it? The audacity. She's not the boss of me! I am an independent adult. The LEADER of Huntrix. I will not fold!
update: I would like to retract my previous statement. She is, unfortunately, very much the boss of me. Look, it is difficult to maintain an argument when the person you love is looking at you like that ok? Those eyes. Those lips. Curse her and her ability to make me forget I was supposed to be standing my ground. No actually don't curse her. I love her.
Thank god Mira slept through it all that night. There is only so much emotional damage one person can endure.
That reminds me...why Zoey was awake in the first place..?Hmm..suspicious, I'd need to investigate. Not for blackmail purposes, obviously. I'm just concerned for my girlfriend's wellbeing. Yep. That is all.

Zoey hasn't said a word to Mira either, which I choose to interpret as loyalty even though I know it's actually about protecting her monopoly on the choco pies. Zoey would rather die than split her new lifetime supply with anyone. Not even her girlfriends!
Which is convenient, because I have yet to mention the choco pie actually was Mira's. She stashed it on very top of the kitchen cabinets, clearly banking on the fact that Zoey is physically incapable of reaching it even with a chair.

Bad news: Mira found out. HOW did she found out?! I already replace the choco pie i stole borrowed the next day. Was she just pretendinf to sleep so she could ambush me when we're alone??
"So," she said, buttering toast, "One of my choco pies vanished." I nearly choked on my juice. In a moment of pure panic, I told her "I don't know what you're talking about, maybe ask Zoey"
Turns out she noticed the choco pie missing three days ago. THREE DAYS. The very SAME day it was gon! She's been sitting on this information for three days, letting me live my life in blissful ignorance, waiting for the perfect moment to strike. What a terrifying woman. Somehow that just makes me love her more??
But good news, I got away with it. I think... Mira didn't push further after I mentioned Zoey's name, which means she believed me. Am I proud of throwing my own girlfriend under the bus so I could get out of trouble with my other girlfriend? No. Do I regret it? Also no.
Anyways, I'm starting to think we have a choco pie problem in this household. At some point we're going to need actual therapy over this..

Ok all y’all’s comments about canon Zoey and Mira at the idol awards got me thinking.
See, from Rumi’s side she saw this;
Zoey and Mira, the two women she loves and holds closer to her heart than anyone and (almost) anything else, raising their weapons at her. A clear sign that they see her as a potential threat, and unintentionally confirming her absolute worst fears.
That she’s a demon, and that she needs to be stopped.
But I want you all to picture for a moment Zoey and Mira.
They just watched what they thought was their dad manager get kidnapped, only to be revealed he was a demon. Then takedown, a song you all agreed wasn’t what was needed to make the Honmoon golden, began to play.
They rushed back as quickly as they could, hearing the song play and dreading what they are about to see. They left Rumi there, so it can only be something bad.
But then they saw her.
Crouched, patterns blazing purple across her bow bare skin. Hair frazzled as if it had been put into an increasingly humid space, a yellow eye.
Rumi’s a demon. Their Rumi is a demon.
Then she stumbles off stage, they can tell she’s scared, trying to process… whatever just happened. She looked so relieved, but all they could see was the patterns, a physical manifestation of her betrayal.
Mira, poor, trusting Mira who had tried just the other day to get Rumi to open up about her secrets. Mira, who now knows Rumi never really trusted them, never really loved them.
Because if she did, why would she betray them like this?
Rumi mentions working with Jinu, and that’s just fuel to the fire burning away the trust she had for her. Mira says it, says how she knew it was too good to be true that she finally had a family that loves her.
She starts to back away, as Zoey’s heart breaks unable to do anything to stop this, the two people she loves most, from breaking apart. Shes hurt too, she hates that Rumi lied to them.
So she trusts Mira. The only one that she knows she can trust still.
But then it happens.
The scream.
Rumi, screaming at them she can still fix what she’d broken between them. The Honmoon, rippling as if there was a breach.
But the only demon they can see is in front of them.
They’re scared, their hurt, they don’t know what to believe anymore.
So they fall back on the training ingrained in them since they first became hunters. Hide what they really feel, and respond to any threats.
So Mira raises her blade first. Mira, who always reached out to Rumi first, who tried to help her first, who argued with her to just open up to them.
Then Zoey… Zoey, who didn’t complain when their break was taken from them. Zoey, who promised to be on Rumi’s side after they lost a whole train of people. Zoey, who tried so hard to understand, even when Rumi wouldn’t let her.
She raises her own weapons. A warning, and an understanding.
You are the threat.
Please don’t make us fight you.
You can see it after Rumi runs. They never wanted to hurt her or fight her. But they were scared, and when a warrior is scared the only thing they can trust is their training.
But damn if it doesn’t hurt, pointing a weapon at someone you love.
Fanon Zoey and Mira ware either super ruthless the second they see the patterns or immediately opt to try and talk it out, or they attack for a second thinking it isn’t Rumi before realizing it is and apologize profusely (and usually kiss about it after).
But in canon? They know it’s Rumi. They know they are warning Rumi, and saying that she is the threat. But they don’t attack her because they love her. And that’s the worst part of it all.
I need you all to picture omegaverse Rumi having a rut and genuinely believing she can just disappear for a few days and come back like nothing happened.
The second she realizes it’s starting, she’s already made a plan: cancel everything, isolate, handle it alone. Classic Rumi, except everyone notices.
Because Rumi during a rut isn’t scary she’s just more restless, protective, stubborn. Constantly checking that everyone else is okay while pretending she’s not the one struggling.
Zoey is the first to call her out.
"Rumi."
"I'm fine."
"You haven't slept."
"...irrelevant."
Mira: "You know isolating yourself isn't the same as being in control, right?"
Rumi hates that they’re right. she doesn’t actually want to be alone, she just doesn’t want to be a burden.

you've probably already noticed that turn signals ("blinkahs") don't serve their usual function here - a common saying on the server is that using them as intended is just giving information to your enemies. you may be tempted to conclude that these "blinkahs" are useless. not so! they are exclusively used for parrying cars audacious enough to think they can just drive past you. the timing is a five-frame window beginning when you can first see the approaching car in your sideview mirrors. simply engage your blinkah and then immediately jump out in front of your opponent. if you get the timing right, you will build super meter. if you're too early, you've accidentally performed a safe traffic maneuver, resetting your meter to 0. if you're too late, you crash and may have to transition to direct PvP, which is outside the purview of this guide.
yellow lights can also be parried by running them, with the amount of super gained determined by how far you make it through the intersection before the light turns red. the ideal window you're aiming for here is between your front and back wheels crossing the white line

the super meter system works differently for bikes. obviously, since they lack blinkahs and run red lights anyways, they can't build super in any of the normal ways. instead, they build it up passively, since their very existence enrages every driver around them. to offset this, the spell list for bikes is a lot lower-power than the spell list for cars, mostly being focused on mobility or utility instead of offense (although there are some notable exceptions like "U-Lock Missile"). the capstone spell for bikes is, of course, "Post Misleadingly Edited GoPro Footage On Reddit".
