there's a lot of discussion over whether the theatrical cut or the director's cut of lsoh is better, but more than anything i'm just ecstatic that we get both. personally, i find the director's cut to be more narratively satisfying, but it also makes me super sad! so when the sadness is too much, it's nice that there is an alternate happily ever after to be had. :')
