Anyways, I've wondered about the "a-racial" thing and the stuff I read gives a possible interpretation, although you may want to glance at an older post first.

What is supposed to be "a-racial" here?

A character? Nah, if it is at all possible to fill in a value, the can't completely lack a value. And somebody is going to fill in the value, even if the author doesn't give somthing explicit.

The other possibility I see is the storyline. Let's take it from a troll perspective: The troll equivalent of Race, i.e., blood color, is introduced as an important factor in their societal organization. It even effects events that happen in the game - see Aradiabot. However, hemospectrum is not calling shots in the completion of SGRUB. That is affected by the "content of character" of the characters.

Up until the point of proper trickster mode introduction, it was the same for both human sessions of SBURB. Sure, the kids might have been recognized as having a certain race, but there was no effect on the game due to it.

Now, it has been suggested that "Trickster Mode" is a glitch in the game, that is, SGRUB/SBURB. But those aren't separate things - you have a meteor flying through space, time, and dreambubbles to show that. However, Homestuck itself has been treated as an entity within the comic.

So, if it is the narrative of Homestuck that is supposed to be "a-racial", and glitches can happen as part of the narrative, then trickster mode itself can may be interpreted as a corruption of the intents of the narrative.

There are tweets like this, sure - though "Caucasian" itself as a label makes no sense as originated. But hey, models are only as good as the data used to derive them.

?? You do realize the original post was a joke? Also, I’m Taiwanese, so uh yeah I know it’s political. Nationalism: super fraught when you get civil wars and an economic supergiant pressuring you to be ~become one with mother country~! Furthermore, most people who learn Traditional don’t go out of their way to learn Simplified — it’s easy enough to read if you already know Trad. Just. FYI.
