I found out about shifting late 2020, and have been trying on and off ever since.

What's In My Utility Belt - BatFam DR

Explanations -

Utility belt

The Bat in the center is actually a sideways lightning bolt (because of my powers). There are many pockets so everything fits comfortably inside and doesn't restrict my movement by being to bulky.

Candy

The little mini kinds that get handed out to kids on Halloween. I mostly patrol in the daytime so i'm 50x more likely to run into kids on patrol, so I keep some sweets on me to hand out to them.

Money

This is mostly for if I get hungry and want to stop and get a snack. Or if I see some street performers/homeless people etc. The food stands and restaurants usually insist that I don't pay them but i mean...obviously i'm gonna pay them.

Pocket knife

I do have superpowers so this is usually for practicality and not defense (if I need to cut some ropes or something like that). But if i ever end up in a situation where my powers are dampened it could be useful.

Mirror and Lipgloss

Ya girl can't have dry lips on patrol babe. It's bad for the brand. Plus the mirror can come in handy when I need to look behind me/around a corner without actually turning around.

Grappling hook

For grappling. No further explanation needed. I can fly but grappling is lowkey fun so I keep it on me. Also, flying whilst carrying other people poses some problems because one wrong move and they get electrocuted so grappling helps in those situations.

Mini med kit

Most people don't have super healing like me and Duke, so having this on me is helpful to treat civilian wounds until an ambulance can come get them/ we can get them to a hospital.

Water bottle

It's super small so I can carry it easily, but that unfortunately means it doesn't hold much water :( But it's okay if i really need it I can stop by somewhere to get some.

Camera

When working on actual cases I need the camera to get pictures of suspects/evidence over long periods of time so I use my camera. (It's also used for taking peak pictures of me from on top of buildings)

Window breaker

I'd rather not break a window with my hands (even tho I easily could), so I carry this incase I need to help someone out of a vehicle, or break into somewhere.

Smoke bombs and Flash bangs

They look the same, but have different engravings on the handle. I keep them in separate pockets anyways so I don't get confused. They're used as diversions if I need to make a stealthy get away, or scare away some nere-do-wells from committing a crime.

Lock picking equipment

Used to pick locks if i need to get into somewhere I "shouldn't be" without leaving an obvious sign behind; like broken glass, or a missing handle.

Songs i associate with my dr’s and why!

Stranger Things Dr

Anthems for a 17year old girl - “Used to be one of the rotten ones and i liked you for that. Now you’re all gone got your makeup on and you’re not coming back.”

- I kind of usurped lucas’ trope from the beginning of season 4. After we got to high school (which is when season one takes place in my dr) I drifted from The Party, and started to hang out more with the “popular kids”. And this line specifically very much speaks to that situation 😓 (it’s probably Mike saying it too).

MCU Dr

The Sick - “Well your pants are on fucking fire, and you use it like a goddamn lighter. And you say that it’s not my fault, but I don’t believe you at all. If you love me then why do you never call?” AND “And I think part of you hated me. So all of me was surviving you.”

- This song always makes me think of my relationship with Fury (Uncle/Adoptive Dad). He keeps secrets constantly and is very withheld regarding emotions and approval. Most of my early childhood was spent trying to win his approval, and my early teen years were spent pissing him off to get attention. Around 16 I got kicked out and we stopped talking, and didn’t speak for 4 years.

The Summer I Turned Pretty Dr

Eastside - “She used to meet me on the eastside, in the city where the sun don’t set” (and basically the whole song)

- This song just fully encapsulates the vibe of a whirlwind summer romance for me. Like driving down to the beach, swimming together and doing other cute little summer dates.

I might make a part 2 if i can think of anything else 🤔

I’m really sitting here and reflecting on my impatience, and wondering if a 2.5 year long slowburn was the right choice for my Stranger Things dr… 🫠

In most of my dr’s where powers/magic are used by other people i usually ALSO have powers (Young Justice, The Flash, Batfam, Harry potter, MCU, Chilling adventures of Sabrina, Stranger Things, K-12)

And then in my Gotham dr im just some random bitch with a bakery and a partying problem…

Its so funny to me that everyone posting about the theosdictionary account is hyper-focusing on the trumps daughter dr and not the MURDER DR AND CANNIBAL DR!!?!?!

I mean wanting to be trumps daughter is definitely not a normal desire at all but i feel most of us can agree that murder and cannibalism is WORSE!! 😭

Out of the blue, i just realised that when i was younger…i lowkey might have been shifting!

Basically when I was little, I had trouble sleeping from time to time, so i would just play random games in my head and make up movie plots in my mind etc.

But at some point i realized that if i close my eyes and think of a song in my head, i would ACTUALLY start hearing it. Even if i knew i couldn’t remember all the lyrics, i could concentrate on the part i do know and when the song started playing it would input the rest of the lyrics. I used to do this with my eyes closed but generally i would zone out so i couldn’t be distracted by anything in my surroundings. And even if i stopped focusing on the song I could still hear it playing in the background as I tried to sleep.

i used to do that just to go to bed! When i was like 5-7! And I had completely forgot about me doing that until a second ago.

Idk if these were actually shifting experiences or not, but if not i think it could make one hell of a shifting method 🤔

I CHANGED MY HEIGHT!?

Just found out that i somehow revised my height! 😀 That or i shifted to a reality where i am now shorter.

Basically, since i was 13ish i was 5’5. Which isn’t tall but everyone at my school happened to be really short 😭

I really disliked feeling so massive compared to other girls in my grade AND ABOVE. And i wished to be shorter. But somehow i never even thought of shifting or manifesting a height difference (things i knew about well at the time).

But NOW i recently checked my height at a Toys R Us — you know how they have those measurement boards — and it said 5’4. I assumed it was just wrong, but i checked on THREE MORE different measuring tapes afterwards and they all said 5’4 exactly! (Coincidentally the height i am in most of my dr’s)

And i had checked my height many times previously, including at the doctors and it used to say i was 5’5 and a half. This means i lost like 1.5 Inches from my height. And i DONT EVEN KNOW HOW!
