I'm a NYC kid, through and through - there is no doubt of that. I live in manhattan in the avengers tower, which has the best view of the city, second only to the view from the empire state building. I love this city. I love the people, the shops, the busy streets, the color, the graffiti on alleyway walls, how new york is just so alive. autumn in new york is my favorite thing ever and swinging through the city is the most free I've ever felt.

to "the city that never sleeps": it's an honor to keep you safe. I love you. you feel like home.

a look into my relationship with peter in my mcu dr <3

we both love to watch movies, especially if we can't fall asleep or are working on something and want background noise but don't feel like listening to music. so we end up watching starwars together a lot

we love building lego together with ned!! sometimes mj will join us and sketch while we build stuff. i especially love lego sets with more than one thousand pieces. I have to admit, dad sort of spoils us rotten when it comes to lego sets we show any sort of interest in (not that I'm complaining)

patrolling with peter is so much fun. we work great together, not only because we both have very similar powers, but because we have spend so much time together that we can fight together intuitively without much problem

we go to delmar's sandwhiches. all. the. time. either after school, during a break in patrol or even after patrol, incase the shop is still open. murph (mr delmar's cat) is suchhhhh a sweetheart. also I'm not completely sure whether or not mr delmar knows who peter and I are... but considering we always get the same order as both civilians and in our suits I wouldn't put it past him

we have matching spider-man and silk hoodies that dad bought for us that we wear all the time, and even once wore to school. sometimes we switch (i wear the spider-man hoodie and he wears the silk hoodie) and we can't stop giggling

we also have matching spider-man and silk keychains on our backpacks <33

workshop or lab time with peter (and dad) is always fun. peter is really smart and it's great to have another person in the lab that's on the same wavelength as you to bounce off random ideas, formulas and to work on any topic you might be stuck on. peter is slightly better at mechanical engineering than I am, but I'm better at biomedical engineering

swinging through nyc is one of the most amazing feelings of all time. doing with a friend is even better

I don't care what dad says he totally sees peter as his second child. he is this close to signing a joint custody agreement with may *holds fingers 0.0001 mm apart from each other*

we both have a spider sense, and for some reason our spider sense sort of recognizes like as like?? I don't really know how to explain it besides the fact that i feel really safe with peter, always have. our spider senses know that we are the same and that we will protect each other

we love annoying wade, showing up at his place unannounced or playing minecraft and other video games with him

speaking of video games - playing minecraft with peter ned and mj is great. peter and ned are unreasonably good at building stuff

we enjoy using our status as the faves of the AIs to get away with shit other people in the tower are not able to get away with ;)

completing homework with him and the Gang TM or studying for exams is actually kind of fun?? makes the time pass quicker

we quote memes and vines while taking down criminals and I'm pretty sure we give most of the avengers and vigilantes stress ulcers because we have NO sense of self-preservation. I think dad aged 10 years since we've begun to hang out simply because of the stress alone

we started patrolling together before we knew each other's identities. when we accidentally found each others identities out we both freaked out lmao

we have constant sleepovers at my place or at his place, at least twice a week. we are both very physically affectionate people so we always end up cuddling or burrito-ed in 28 blankets

just doing random stuff with him is so fun??going shopping, baking, stopping by a playground at night during patrol and seeing which one of us can swing the highest. he's my best friend fr

we have a folder full of shitty pictures of the avengers and vigilantes that we use as blackmail or just to look at bc some of them are so fucking funny

i also have a folder of him swinging into walls. I know he has one of me too we are at a stale mate in that regard

we have considered opening an avengers incorrect quotes account with actual quotes of the avengers. we're waiting from approval from pepper but we both think she'll say yes

sitting on the ceiling while scrolling on our phone, working on some tech, reading a book or even while eating >>> spider brain go brrr but it freaks everyone out, especially when they think the room is empty and then one or the both of us just says somehing suddenly. the only one who doesn't get startled by this is natasha

me: "don't swing and text!!" peter: "we both know you were texting wade about some crap while taking down that gawhg lawnwu wekwwn" me: "...did you hit a billboard again?" peter: "shut up"

we can get really carried away with our spider instincts when we spend a lot of time together and are very distracted. sometimes we end up on the ceiling without actively thinking about it or halfway through building a cocoon web hammock

doing parkour and exloring the city from up top with peter. spending hours on top of the tallest buildings in the city, just appreciating the view <33

we have a joint insta account where we post pictures we took while swinging or from up high. the one with the most likes is currently a photo peter took from the top of the empire state building

quoting vines with the rest of the young avengers and vigilantes is so much fun. we are true gen z, what else can I say

keeping each other accountable to not miss acadeca practice because we are scared of mj's wrath (we still miss most practices. what can I say, the life of a teenage vigilante is hard)

peter went with me to wakanda once and we spent the whole day in the lab with shuri and it was the most fantastic thing ever. we built real life laser swords (though they are safer than the ones in the movies) and spent the whole time quoting vines

going to the intern labs at SI when there is no one there and leaving helpful hints scribbled on the whiteboards. the interns are convinced the lab is hanuted and are four seconds away from building a shrine for the mysterious ghost that fixes things for them

gerlad the third. he is a unicorn plushie that wade gifted me. he looks a bit like he was put through the ringer, but all he needs is a little love. he is one of my favorite plushies. dad hates him

my silk hoodie that dad gifted me!! peter has a similar spider-man hoodie. i'm sure it was meant as a gag, but i love it. sometimes we will switch, he wears mine and I wear his, and it always makes me laugh

my headphones!! one of the first things dad taught me about after i was saved from hydra was music. he talked to me about all kinds of music artists, and headphones were the first gift I he gave me. i was afraid of doodling on them and "destroying" his gift, but dad assured me that im allowed to customize stuff i own and make them mine.

my red converse. a need, not a want. part of my silk suit but also just a key part of my identity tbh

my room at the tower is amazig, but the best part are the fairy lights. they make my room appear so cozy and comfortable. it's amazing ambiance lighting for sleepovers and late night movie marathons with my friends

matching spider-man and silk lego keychains peter and i bought one day late on patrol. peter saw them first, and immediately tried to convince me to buy a matching one with him. I tried to pretend I didn't think they were cool but immediately caved. they are cool, okay? we each have one on our schoolbags.

my set of knives, including my throwing knives (a gift from nat) and a knife that winter once gave me after an especially successful training session, back during my days in hydra

my skateboards!! I love skateboarding, it's so much fun. I can really let go and just have fun. my favorite part is learning new tricks and customizing my boards by painting on them

hoodies. you've probably noticed by now that I'm obsessed with hoodies. I can't help it - they are just cozy, comfortable and safe. I have a tendency of stealing borrowing hoodies from people that are close to me. dad's MIT hoodie? mine. one of peter's old midtown high hoodies? also mine. an old blue hoodie that Steve used to wear for training and foolishly left unsupervised in the common room for more than 10 minutes? mine now
