its funny how much that im thinking about it now. now that i've opened my mind a little more and let myself dream, i really wanna do it. i wanna say hello and be in the world of my DR. i wanna see my favorite people and experience their lives alongside them. and i know at some point i will. it makes me excited :)

learning how to be a person again; how to be jamie stark. being 13 (going on 14) is hard enough, but healing from six years in hydra captivity on top is even harder.

i discover that i love skateboarding, helping tony (i can't find it in herself to call him dad yet) in the workshop and drinking energy drinks to make up for my insomnia. i spend most of my time in comfortable clothing - sweatpants or loose jeans, hoodies, band shirts and converse - while learning that i am more than just "asset 17". i don't feel ready to go to school, yet against all odds, i make friends at midtwon high. peter, ned and mj are fun to hang out with and don't seem to mind my oddities.

introducing... jamie willow stark aka silk

born in 2001 as jamie nichols to sofia nichols, she grew up not knowing her true parentage. she was a smart kid - quick witted and intelligent with a knack for math, chemistry and physics. she was, for all intents and purposes a normal child. she loves learning languages, and drawing in her free time.

unbeknownst to her, that would all soon change. her mom was a spy for hydra, working with and spying on mary and richard parker at oscorp, to try and reverse-engineer the research they were conducting on spiders to develop a serum to enhance hydra's soldiers. when jamie was 6 years old, her mother was killed for trying to deflect.

jamie was taken into hydra's custody, and renamed "asset 17". she was experimented on for years, trained and indoctrinated. her closest companion during this time was winter - the soldier whose equal she was supposed to become one day, who trained her and taught her everything he knew. winter and 17 grew closer, and their handlers used them as leverage against each other to keep them from escaping or attempting to break through their brainwashing. 17 slowly develops powers - enhanced strength, stamina, flexibility and senses, as well as an increased abillity to detect danger.

when she was 10 years old, she started going on missions and took on the name "the spider", quickly becoming a feared assasin and spy. in 2013, when she was 12 years old, the hydra base where she was kept was infiltrated and liberated by the avengers. the spider was taken into custody by SHIELD, where it was discovered that she is the biological daughter of tony stark.

after breaking through her brainwashing and indoctrination, she goes to live with her father and the rest of the avengers in the avengers tower in nyc. she enrolls in a science school - midtown high - and becomes friends with peter, ned, and eventually mj. she spends her time hanging out with her friends, skateboarding, learning how to play the guitar, helping her dad in the workshop and growing closer to the other members of the avengers.

in 2015, she is kidnapped by ultron and used as leverage against the team. this near death experience triggers latent mutations in her body, causing her to develop more powers, such as the ability to stick to walls, send out small electric shocks, and an even stronger "spider sense". unbeknownst to her, her best friend peter parker was bitten by a radioactive spider on a fieldtrip to oscorp, developing similar powers as her.

now 15 years old, she starts to sneak out of the tower to patrol nyc, going by the name "silk". she meets spider-man, whose identity she doesn't yet know, and the two of them get on like a house on fire. she meets other vigilantes too - daredevil (who starts to love her like his own child/niece), wade wilson (who she quickly befriends to the suprise of... everyone), jessica jones, frank castle and luke cage, to name a few.

life is going well for jamie stark. there are some new people moving into the tower, such as wanda, vision and steve's best friend bucky (who seems awfully familiar, for some reason). she gets yelled at real bad when her dad finds out that she is silk, she still has some nightmares from her time with hydra and flash is an asshole to her at school - but all in all, she is having an excellent time.

... perhaps she shouldn't have jinxed it.

one of hydra's best soldiers... asset 17 aka the spider

taken into hydra's custody at age 6, trained and experimented on with the spider serum. Out of 17, she is the only successful experiment that survived. she is one of hydra's best soldiers, trained under the watchful eye of the winter soldier. first solo mission at age 10 - upon completion she gains the name "the spider". quick draw, efficient killer, enhanced soldier. she buries her emotions, because she is an asset, and assets have neither emotions nor names. but sometimes, only sometimes, when it's just her and winter, she let's herself feel...

introducing silk, one of nyc's own spider-vigilantes and an avenger in training. powers include sticking to walls, increased strength, stamina, senses, metabolism and healing factor (thank god, broken ribs are NOT fun to deal with), a "spider sense", and the ability to send out small electrical shocks. I love my suit, it's so comfortable!! I usually wear my converse or doc martens over the suit, as well as a hoodie. i love patrolling, but usually stick to manhattan or queens.

I'm known for my quick wit, intelligence, sarcasm and ability to work with almost any weapon (although I prefer to stick to my webshooters and take down criminals non-lethally). often seen together with spider-man, daredevil or deadpool

hanging out with one of my best friends, wade wilson!! aka deadpool. I can barely stop laughing when we hang out. thank god my dad is a billionaire, otherwise I would have had no money to put in the "sin tin" after the first month of our friendship. deadpool and silk are known in the vigilante community as efficient, but crazy, especially when both of them work together.

dad isn't very happy about our friendship but there's not much he can do about it

just an average day of patrol for your very own nyc-based spider-people, spider-man and silk

stopping criminals, swinging around the city, getting sandwiches at delmar's and appreciating the sunset from the top of the empire state building. we are both very sarcastic and quick witted people, and it's so much fun to banter with each other while taking down criminals. I consider spider-man to be one of my best friends!! it's a pity that I have to keep my civilian life and vigilante life separate - i think my best friend in school, peter parker, would get on very well with spidey...

potential experience - entry #2

dated: august 6th, 2026 // event occured august 5th, 2026 i wouldn't call this necessarily a shift or anything, but its definitely a weird occurrence. i recent scripted out my dr self--nothing intensive or anything, just traits and such, but i did end up adding a moment upon awakening in my DR.

i fell into a routine of listening to the same song nightly, particularly honest by the neighbourhood. i absolutely love this song so its of course a win but it's also from amazing spider-man 2. considering that one of my close friends is peter this DR...why not? that plus reading my script before bed.

i think strangely enough that combination kind of worked? i only say kind of because i wasn't supposed to wake up to an alarm in my DR. i rather was supposed to wake up before my alarm there.

in my CR, i had set two--one at 8:30am and another at 9:30am. i had woken up at the 8:30 one, shut it off, and went right back to bed. i then woke up at the 9:30 one in a panic because it was supposed to be my back up. i get up of course to find that it was still 8:30. i hadnt even woken up to the first alarm.

is this guaranteed to be related? maybe not, but it means something to me how this interaction went. i feel like i cant just pass it off as a dream. i think it kind of means im getting closer to my DR self
