They want up to TWENTY CENTS per game install, once you reach a certain number of installs.

Just imagine, 100 people install your game and you suddenly owe Unity 20 fucking dollars. Chances are, you haven't even made that much in profits from 100 sales.

It's time for unity to fucking die. How fucking dare they demand royalties from game devs for an engine THAT ISN'T EVEN FREE?

What we’re seeing now is a perfect example of Cannibal Capitalism.

Once all the world’s land has been conquered and once every market is saturated, Capitalists have no choice but to turn to each other for continued, “infinite” growth.

Once Capital and the Shareholders have extracted every cent they can from the customer, they have to start extracting money and profit from somewhere else: layoffs, mergers, acquisitions, etc., until you wind up with some kind of giant, horrible, unmanageable profit Katamari.

Problem is, infinite growth is a lie told to investors and stock holders to keep their capital invested in one’s business. So, once they raise prices too much they run out of new customers and have to turn inward for more profit. When they can’t extract more money from us customers, they turn to their vendors, suppliers, and subsidiaries. They slash “expenses” like employees and their benefits. They put stuff that was previously included with the product behind a paywall. They start charging people who use their products to use them - switching to subscription or “free-to-play” service models.

It will never end.

It can’t.

Capital has made too many promises it cannot keep and plans to render as much juice and fat from our corpses as it can.

Grizzly 399 lives in close proximity to humans but has never caused problems or attacked a human - she has taught her many cubs important skills like looking both ways before crossing the road. She has had more triplets than is normal for grizzlies, and is far better at keeping triplets alive than less experienced mothers.

She had 22 progeny, (though not all survived) including Grizzly 610, who in 2011 adopted one of 399’s triplets along with her own two cubs. 399 previously went viral on social media for keeping her quadruplets alive through two seasons, despite bear cubs only having a 55% survival rate.
