Head back to the garden on the first day of Spring! Tomie Arai’s “Back to the Garden” (2007) at Pelham Parkway (2/5) station features flora that are common to the area of Pelham Parkway, which links Pelham Bay Park with the Bronx Zoo, and New York Botanical Garden. Arai insets historic black and white photographs from 1899 to 1969 that capture views of the surrounding streets and buildings. Take the 2 or 5 train to Pelham Parkway to check out the orchid show at the New York Botanical Garden!
