I've been drawing a bit more lately since depression has been easing up. Mostly sketches though because I kinda wanna find an illustrative method/style that is more chill and less expecting than my usual bigger works. I do have a larger piece in progress though.

So yeah. If I feel less insecure, I may start posting random sketches that aren't as good as usual and probably won't be consistent but Shia LaBeouf has been subconsciously yelling at me for a while now

Not many people really follow my blog much especially cause I go MIA often and my art is inconsistent but I'm randomly compelled to write this? Even just to reflect on.

We got a new printer and I randomly realized I have art of mine that I actually kinda like and want to hang up on my wall. Hell is freezing over. I spent at least 3+ hours and 3 test pages trying to get the colour profiles to work while also playing with some post processing on some old art. If I didn’t have experience with PS and Photography, I swear it would have taken like 7 days. I still need to adjust Fyodor though because I did make it a bit too saturated and I want the blacks darker. It also is super small because it’s meant to be 11 x 17 and I learned the hard way, 8.5 x 11 is a terrible crop for it.

This is literally the epitome but my inconsistent art style... I’m trying to sorta radically accept it--especially cause more realistic pieces burn me out--but it’s a process.

Been feeling better mentally so I made a thing. I was compelled to draw Fyodor but the BSD art style is hard for me to emulate, so I decided to do one of those frame re-draw/re-interpretation things.

"Oh no. He's hot."

I did the scene where he was [spoiler removed] cause I liked the creepy vibe but sorta changed it up a bit.

His bangs change direction in every other reference. I got confused like 5 separate times.

For the first time in my life everrrr, I've been proud of an art thing that I wanna print it and put it on my wall. Eidbhsfshs.

I almost threw it out at first but decided to fix it up later and I can't believe I made this lmao

Heads up: My art when depressed vs. euthmyc looks like it's done by two separate people.

This is the main reason I get too nervous to share most of my art online. People irl have accused me of lying when they'd see my art in two drastically different styles, or others expect me to keep up the same quality. I doubt people here will be assholes to me but I just wanted to mention it. I guess sort of an anxiety thing.

I haven't been able to get to a generally stable place like this in a very long time and I'm really excited to share it. The depression stuff also explains my spontaneous disappearances from social media.

Funny enough: Animal Crossing has inspired me to be more social share stuff, and helped me get back into art to make this. I got a separate blog going for that so I don't clog up others' weeb feeds. The AC community is so kind too omg

I've been sketching Chuuya in different styles and I randomly made this. My inner fangirl squeals every time I manage to draw a best boy well.

I got mail and couldn't think of what it was since I've been MIA for a while. My order from @unknownzine arrived and I screamed the moment I saw his face on the sticker (to which my parents asked if I was ok). I am never okay.

This is suuuuuch a good pick me up and I am so happy omfg. Best boy has basically filled my ita bag I got for Christmas and I still want more.

Everything is SUCH high quality and gorgeous and everyone put so much effort into this project. I had to turn the sticker and note into pins for my bag too. Now excuse me while I caress the matte paper.
