Sketchtober 12- Shattered.
This is the first day I only had to do one page of sketches, so I took some creative liberty and illustrated a creature I created when I was maybe 13 years old. They’re called silhouette owls, and they are the lost souls of those beings who have sunk all the way into a deep, heart breaking depression. They are the souls that have left the body to wander the world in search for meaning, and life, and happiness. They melt into the shadows, and they can’t be touched. No one can help them except themselves, but how can they help themselves in such an incorporeal and ethereal state? They are shattered fragments of a soul, held together by the shadows of their past. Eventually, they are forgotten, and they melt away.
