Allison turned to look at Julian as she touched her arm and smiled at him. “Sure, okay.” She glanced at Iris, before heading to the door. She rang the bell and waited for someone to reply.

Burt smiled at him. “I hope we’ll have time to tell you Kurt’s kid stories.” He said and tapped Sebastian’s shoulder.

Finn raised his eyebrows. “That is cool. I’m still in college, majoring in teaching.” He smiled. “How long have you been together with Noelle? If I can ask of course.” He asked and Noelle eyed William and Finn for a moment. “I’m going to take that.” She said, as someone rang the bell. Once she saw Allison, Julian and Iris, she widened her eyes and squealed, jumping to hug Allison, that felt a little startled. “Happy Christmas, Noelle.” She said as Noelle let her go to hug Julian. “Merry Christmas, Julian and Iris.” Noelle said and squeezed the baby’s cheek.

Allison walked in the living room and the only person that she knew was Sebastian. “Merry Christmas, Sebastian.” She said, tapping his arm and looking at Finn and Burt. “Nice to meet you, you must be Kurt’s father and brother.” He said with a smile. “Yes, nice to meet you, you are?” He asked. “I’m Sebastian sister in law.” She said, tapping Sebastian arm. “My name’s Allison.”

Burt smiled at Sebastian, as he said that and came closer. “Good, Finn is somehow right. Kurt has confided that you like something, so I brought two things that you can both use.” He said with a smile. Carole smiled at Finn and came closer to hug him. “Hello sweetie.” She said. “How are you?” She asked and Kurt came closer to the things he had prepared and sighed. “Do you think Sebastian is doing okay with dad?” He asked both of them.

Sebastian giggled, feeling more relaxed about Kurt’s that. “Oh, I would love that.”

William raised his eyebrows and smiled. “Oh, you’re gonna be a teacher? That’s great.” He then nod. “No, it’s okay, we’ve been on and off... For about... 3 years.” He said. William followed Noelle with her eyes and then back at Finn. “Are you seeing someone?” He asked.

Julian blinked as someone oppened the door and smiled at Noelle. He hugged her back and leaned down a little. “Happy christmas, Noelle. Is eveyone here then.” He said.

Sebastian raised his eyebrows at Allison and put his hands on his pocked. He stayed in silence throught the introductions and then looked at the door. “And that one is Julian, my brother, with his daugther. Iris.” He said pointing at the door and waved at the other Smythe. Julian smiled at Noelle and then sighed. “Bastian is calling me.” He said and touched the top of Noelle’s head before head to the group on the living room. “Hi, everyone.” He said. “Where’s Kurt?”

Sebastian raised his eyebrows. “Oh... Well, I’m surely curious now.” He said. William smiled at Carole. “I’m okay. How are you?” He asked and turned to Kurt. “I think he’s doing great. He hasn’t been sarcastic so far, for what I heard.” He said. “Can I help with anything?”

Noelle stared at him for a moment and sucked on her lower lip. “No…there’s no such thing as a big age difference.” She blinked. “Or small, for that matter.” She swallowed. “I believe that  you and Amy created a bond, when you were much younger. I think that you’re something bigger than good friends. You’re almost like siblings. Maybe, because you lived together.” She smiled at him.

Noelle gasped in surprised, as William started talking and she averted her attention to look at him. She chuckled as she realized what he said and bit her lower lip. “Yeah, I wanted it to be perfect.” She smiled and handed him the instructions. 

William smiled lightly at that. “That worries, me sometimes, you know?” He said and sighed. “But I guess you’re right. We’re almost family.”

William smiled widely and leaned to kiss her cheek before taking the instructions on his hand. “Okay, let’s see how this works.”

‘Cause I didn’t know I would go out to get myself cake and instead I bought presents for my nephew, niece and other nephew (I’m counting myself as an aunt for Matthew’s kid here, if you didn’t realize it yourself)
