My thoughts and possible theories on what could happen in TSAMS / LAES with Lunar
Before I say anything major I want to clarify that everything I say about possible ideas is based on my perception of the character and the current plot !!!
I think something that should be taken note of is that Lunar KNOWS why the OG world is gone, why Monty went "crazy" and why he killed Dazzle.
I can assume that he is under the impression that President Earth is still watching over them ( He is correct ) and if he says a word he'll be killed just like Dazzle which would most likely be the case.
While LAES and TSAMS do have major differences, LAES does take similar plots from early on in TSAMS like Dazzle dying could be LAES version of " MONTY PLE- " and Cosmos exploding. By using this kind of reasoning a lot of plots or characters make a lot more sense to me but it falls flat for Lunar.
He is stuck in a similar loop of near constantly going through some kind of trauma and never really reaching out but unlike Cosmos I don't think Lunar would ever even consider doing a lot of the stuff he's done. They are fundamentally very different characters and never usually follow the same tropes or ideas from the viewers perspective.
I think that at some point most likely soon someone from TSAMS is gonna take note of how different Lunar is acting and how he's kind of... suspicious about the whole thing. I assume this could be Moon, Solar, maybe Eclipse, Monty or even Terra would ask him about it which would raise more questions because he can NOT lie for or try to divert a topic if his life was on the line. ( Which it technically is in this case. )
I could see them finding out about President Earth and the manipulation of Dazzle and instantly being on his side about it and trying to protect him and the others however,
I can also see a chance where he does get a bit of blame considering he should have warned Dazzle to never a word about President Earth but I don't think it's a big enough for them to do so especially so soon.
I personally think that this happening is going to kind of lock Lunar into a set path of sorts similar to how Cosmos became an Astral, I think there may be similar paths for Lunar.
Cosmos had from what I can understand, three technical paths that be would determined by his actions. The paths were becoming an astral, staying with his family or dying.
Lunar is at a similar stand still in my eyes, especially with how he's been saying " I'm the better one " I do definitely think that Cosmos coming back during this kind of situation will make Lunar have a breakdown. ( Which means there's a veryyyy likely chance he will knowing the writers. )
I believe Lunar's current paths are joining President Earth ( Most likely not for very long. ), looking more into the Astrals, looking into the Star or giving Eclipse a body. ( At least the one in his head. )
These could be the paths that he does have a chance to go or I could be completely wrong.
These are just my thoughts and how I personally think it go about.
Also a thought that is entirely different from everything above-
While Lunar and Night were not close, I do think Lunar knows that he sacrificed himself for the others and it will probably give him even more survivors guilt because there can't be a version of Cosmos without guilt. :)
I think there's a chance that Night and the others get rebuilt eventually but I think it would happen around the time that Lunar has nearly fully recovered from it and it's gonna set him back to square one.
