discourse (apparently). nobody is calling you evil or selfish for wanting a partner system. nobody is calling you problematic just for not wanting to date a singlet partner. t4t exists, sys4sys exists too.

HOWEVER. not recognizing that dating between two systems is intrinsically complex and can be mentally taxing is irresponsible at best. CPTSD makes life hard, duh. and that extends to dating as well. two mentally individuals seeking comfort and love in one another is not a problem. but you have to recognize that you and your partner will both have moments of extreme vulnerability, which can be intentionally or unintentionally exploited.

when people voice truths about partner systems (that they can exaserbate certain symptoms, cause roadblocks in recovery, lead to toxic dynamics, etc.) they are NOT calling you problematic for wanting one. they are warning you that sys4sys relationships, just like any other relationship, have their complications. choosing to block out any and all warnings under the guise that you're being "attacked" for wanting a partner system is irresponsible and stupid, plain and simple.

So, our psys has recently gained a new fictive sourced from Mettaton and let me tell you. Mel is an absolute diva. Which brings me to why I’m making this post. Sorry Mel, this is about your source, not you unfortunately. Love your attitude though! /p 🫶

So. When we were younger, possibly 11-12? We got into undertale. This is mostly a story-time/character appreciation post. While in this phase, we gained a sort of closeness with the characters. Sans, mostly. Yes, we were a sans fangirl. Although, obviously not a girl anymore! Saw Toriel as a mother figure, Paps as a brother/brother in-law ig, etc. Mettaton? Gay awakening. Not even only that, but also our very early trans awakening before we even knew what it meant or how we were feeling. So, this post is for Mettaton for literally helping to kickstart the progress we’ve made to discovering ourselves and continuing to inspire us after all this time. we love our partner system

we love everyone we talk to, we love the ones who fit stereotypes and we love the ones who dont, we love the ones who have high energy and we love the ones who have low energy and we love the ones who are in between, we love the ones we have to be careful around, we love the ones who are just starting to come out of their shells, we love the ones who open up to us and we love the ones who are more reserved, we love void despite how others see may see any of them

its been here for us, rots very understanding and patient, no matter who it is, we’ve never found it difficult to love any of them or pill as a whole, it means the world (and more) to us and we dont want to be anywhere if its not with void

so yeah, we’d for sure say we really do love our partner system
