How to Ride a Werewolf
Now remember, a lady rides sidesaddle, NOT astride. Your mother would be in hysterics at the very idea that a daughter of hers would ride a werewolf astride! Why, next you’ll be showing ankle…
I HAVE NOT SEEN THIS POST IN A YEAR.
lets amplify the fact that garou would literally die for any child before any form of harm is brought to them. Let's visualize garou investing his time into charities for kids and he plays with a bunch of them in his free time while being super reassuring and making them feel special (like how he does with taro) and at first garou tries to keep it low key and acts suspicious throughout the day prompting badd to follow him only to find out of his secret pass time and crying internally abt it
Oh lord my hEART. God tier headcanon right there.
He’s gives them the most motivating speeches and makes sure no one feels left out//
Badd asks him how his day was despite already knowing and just smiles through whatever Garou comes up with.
im fucking dead ❤😵❤
Beware of Heroes
The Monster Association is committed to the safety of its comrades and produces these handy guides as to how to spot the more notable ones. Stay safe! Stay alive (a while).
today is the only day you can reblog this
going on testosterone is so exciting im so glad to finally go through my himboification
my special friend calls it his PP Juice and I started calling it PP Up from Pokemon and so now it’s the PP Up Juice.
Doodles.
Saitama crying.I have a headcanon about Saita, that he actually does matter the others’ opinion, even if he just acts like he feels nothing. He actually feels empty and lonely, I think he’d explode at any time, and Genos would be the cause ( after becoming Evil! Genos or Kaijin! Genos…). I think I will do another post talking about it, lol.
Mumen Rider, the sweetest character of One Punch Man ♥ (I couldn’t draw him in his hero outfit >_<; ).

A random dumb extra xD:

yall look at this shit ad*be is tryna pull now on ppl who have outdated software:
(note for context: i’m all for piracy, but in this case my copy of CS6 was downloaded years ago when they were giving it away to students. i got it totally legally.)
so here is what NOT to do if you’re a loyal fan of adobe who has the cash to shell out for a newer and shittier version of the product you already paid for.
1) DON’T use your search bar to find and open the Run app
2) DON’T type in services.msc
3) DON’T find Adobe Genuine Software Integrity Services and right-click to get a dropdown menu, and don’t select ‘properties’
4) if you happen to click properties, DON’T use the startup type dropdown to locate the option to disable the program. be sure you DON’T click apply to finalize that change.
5) DO NOT do the same thing in order to also disable Adobe Genuine Software Monitor
if you do all of these things, this WILL disable adobe’s ability to monitor the software, and you will be forced to continue using the same older software that you already paid for instead of having to sign up for a newer, shittier version and pay more for it. so if you have lots of cash to spare and are cool with putting it the pockets of racketeering capitalists, definitely don’t do any of these things.
however, you SHOULD reblog this to spread the word, as we certainly want to make sure lots of people know what NOT to do :)

Day 112 - Mumarou Month (Babysitting)
Tareo??
Good morning! I’m salty.
I think we, as a general community, need to start taking this little moment more seriously.
This, right here? This is asking for consent. It’s a legal necessity, yes, but it is also you, the reader, actively consenting to see adult content; and in doing so, saying that you are of an age to see it, and that you’re emotionally capable of handling it.
You find the content you find behind this warning disgusting, horrifying, upsetting, triggering? You consented. You said you could handle it, and you were able to back out at any time. You take responsibility for yourself when you click through this, and so long as the creator used warnings and tags correctly, you bear full responsibility for its impact on you.
“Children are going to lie about their age” is probably true, but that’s the problem of them and the people who are responsible for them, not the people that they lie to.
If you’re not prepared to see adult content, created by and for adults, don’t fucking click through this. And if you do, for all that’s holy, don’t blame anyone else for it.
This needs to be reblogged today.
Consenting to see adult content doesn’t mean you should have to see a bunch of shit romanticizing incest and pedophilia you walnut
Except this is the last line of consent before the actual work. So if you’re at this button you have already done the following:
1) chosen to go onto AO3 in the first place
2) chosen the fandom you wish to read about
3) had the chance to filter for the things you do want to see like a specific pairing or a specific AU
4) had the chance to specifically filter out any tags you don’t want to see like, oh I don’t know, incest and non-con and dub-con and paedophilia
5) had the chance to set the rating level if you wish to remove any explicit content at all
6) have read the summary of the story, which aren’t always great but are the only indicator of what the story will be like writing wise so something about it was good enough for you to click on it.
7) have read the tags of the story which will tell you what is actually in the story. If you have used filters to remove stories with things you don’t want then there shouldn’t be anything in here that’s a shock to you but maybe there is. That’s why the tags are there for you to check for yourself.
8) Then you have to actually click on the story. You cannot see anything other than the summary or the tags without personally deciding that you are going to open and read this story.
9) Only here, at step number nine, do you get to the adult content warning pictured above. You have been through eight different steps, the last six of which have also been opportunities for you to see that this has adult content. And AO3 has *STILL* stopped you to ask one last time “are you sure you want to read this because it has things that only adults should see in it”.
If after this point you are reading incest and paedophilia then it’s probably because you specifically went looking for it.
You walnut.
This is the most beautiful thing that I have seen about ao3
Always important!!!!!!
now that ao3 has won a hugo award...
my future employer, at an interview: hmm it says here on your resume you ‘contributed to a hugo award-winning project’
me: that’s right
my future employer: may i see your contribution
me: …no
Hey guys are we not gonna talk about the fact that Genos got vored in season 2 orrrrrr……?
we universally agreed to repress that memory along with most of season 2
You want us to talk? Really? Okay, you asked. Go get yourself a drink: this gets long and ranty!
I actually set half a day aside for the last episode. After seeing what an excellent and emotional job they did with episode 11, I was all set to just go nuts for the last episode, particularly as it was one I had such a strong reaction to in the manga. But then I was overwhelmingly underwhelmed.
Only one picture. Just look at the difference in intensity between manga panel and anime. The anime it looks like Genos is just wondering which pair of pants he wants to put on today.
A face full of unhappiness vs ‘where are my pants?’
It’s taken me all this time to realise what this look is all about. I remember that when I first saw it in the manga, I thought ‘oh no, Genos is putting on a front – that Gouketsu must have really rattled him.’ It’s only looking back that I understand better.
It all goes right back to chapter 38, when Genos sent Saitama away so that he could fight G-4 without a safety net – a true do-or-die fight – and then brought the parts back to Dr Kuseno. And it’s also related to chapter 44, where Fubuki is explaining her despair over being overshadowed by her elder sister, no matter what she does.
The struggle Genos is having is over what role exactly he should play.
‘Don’t push yourself’, accepting that there are people who will always be better than you is in direct conflict with 'rise to the top of Class S’ and 'heroes face powerful monsters, even alone.’ And through the 40s and 60s of the manga chapters, Genos has had to admit that his doctor has a point. It came to a head with Awakened Cockroach, when Genos admitted that Dr Kuseno was right about needing to respect that others might be better at least in some respects in order to make progress.
Because that was the time the manga was beset with delays, redraws and hiatuses, it took several years for the story to make any progress and that’s a plot point that got very much diluted. But after chapter 80, when Dr Kuseno told him yet again to stop being so reckless, Genos has really taken it seriously.
I had been a bit annoyed at the fan translation group behind Mangastream translating Dr Kuseno’s advice as 'respect your limits’ rather than 'don’t be reckless’ and while it’s still wrong, I see where they’re coming from a lot better. Becaue that’s exactly what Genos tried. He stepped back a bit. He ceded Garou to Bang. He was cooperative. He was even supportive. And yet, it did not helped. All that happened was that Garou escaped, the monster kept growing and Bang had no clue of what to do next. That’s what Genos meant by it not being enough.
I usually despise Viz translations, but in this case, I think they have the most succinct interpretation
When he attacked Elder Centipede, it was because he had realised that he couldn’t take a subordinate role. The fight is unavoidable and he can’t step back and let his 'betters’ do it. For better or for so much worse, this is a fight he has to be at the forefront of. That’s what made it so intense. That’s what made it doubly so when he completely refused to be dismissed when the monster bit him in half, did the impossible, putting himself back together and then **forced himself down** the monster’s throat to burn it from ship to stern.
In the manga, WE HAD GOOSEBUMPS. It was that intense. As was our disappointment that the monster recovered – we shared his bafflement and despair.
And Saitama’s off the cuff remark 'isn’t it power?’ is the answer. The solution is not to step back, but to grow stronger until he can. The one in front has to be a cyborg.
______________
Did you get any of that from the anime? I don’t think so! They failed to make any links or to present Genos in any consistent or coherent manner. Forget about adding stuff, just present what’s there already!
The anime really had the advantage here. Instead of 4 years from first chapter to last, it was just 11 weeks between first episode and last. Literally all they had to do was put Genos’s words and actions on the screen and the more compressed format would have made the case powerfully. They didn’t even have to add a word or anime-only scene. JC Staff didn’t start out too badly. When Fubuki told her case of woe in the second episode and Genos was listening quietly and intently to her, it linked very well with episode one, where we’d seen just how much of a struggle it’d been for Genos to prevail over an enemy without Saitama to back him up. As well as how determined he was to forge forward.
After that good start, they started to steal from Genos instead – omitting his thoughts, abbreviating his actions and just made a mess really of what should have been a very easy win.
They even missed on the very easy visual irony to Genos doing his best to be supportive. If he had done the 'reckless’ thing and gone first, he would literally have done twice as much damage to Elder Centipede, since the monster had only half the volume it did before it moulted. I bet the outcome would have been very different then! But no, they missed even letting the monster grow after the brothers broke its shell.
By having JC Staff not care to show and thus build Genos’s character progression rather robbed the climax of its power and that’s why (even more than the art) the vore scene isn’t quite as powerful at it should be and that’s a shame.
And that’s why we’re not talking about it.
And if you haven’t yet, read the manga! The chapters flow… and the feel of this chapter is totally different in a good way to the anime.
