honestly this is something i’ve held back on posting for a while now. the truth is i don’t think i really want to write for a public account anymore, there’s pressure to write things that everyone wants you to write and honestly i’ve felt out of kpop all together. maybe someday ill come back under an alias or the very same account but i don’t think that’s very likely. now, my account will still be up but ill log out of it indefinitely and officially archiving it.
i seem to always do this with accounts and finally, i think it’s just not for me, maybe it never was and that’s simply for the best. i enjoyed all the time i had on this account including all the friends i made <3 , some of you i still talk to and occasionally check in with. to all the friends i could’ve made, i wish i could meet you again when im in a better place to be a good friend to people. maybe, if i want to i would log in occasionally to see my inbox or if anything happens but other than that i dont plan on answering any asks or dms.
this is a decision i have thought about long and hard, its unfair to leave this unsaid to my followers as i think as readers you should have the right to know. im so appreciative of all the support i received and i wish i enjoyed writing for kpop as much as you all enjoyed my fics 🥹🩷 maybe someday ill write oc’s or an actual book but for now ill simply focus on school and living my 20s to the fullest 🪷!

dating tokuno yushi was many things, somehow in some way he always managed to surprise you. whether that be showing up at your doorstep with fresh cookies when you complained about wanting cookies or spontaneously kissing every part of your body whenever he felt like it, he says kissing you gives him an energy boost; whatever that means.
among all the things he did there was one that was the most consistent. his word to you. albeit yushi was a quiet person around others, sometimes even the people he was close with. the words he wrote to you spoke much more volume than any words he could utter from his lips.
he writes them when you’re not looking, sometimes when you’re making dinner for the two of you or doing something in your room. sometimes he even writes them before coming to your apartment so he can slip it into his usual hiding spot for you to see. the first couple times he did this, you assumed that he was doing it by accident, until one day you confronted him about it.
“you left this in my living room, i don’t know if it was something important so i kept it” you said, sliding the slip of paper in front of him. he looked down at the paper then you, tilting his head as if he was a curious kitten. “it’s for you” he slid it on the table so now it was in front of you. your cheeks turned a soft shade of pink, “me?” you mumbled, looking down at the folded piece of paper.
“i wrote it for you, just for you” he said, smiling softly. you could see his ears turning slightly red. you nodded, smiling fully now. “thank you ushi, it’s so sweet” you said, now it being his turn to blush. “ah.. it’s not like.. huge” he muttered out, making you smile at his antics. “yeah whatever” you said, cheeks beginning to hurt because of how much you were smiling, that always happened when you were around him.
from then on, yushi made it a point to hide the small poems in the same spot. he would place the slip of paper underneath the coaster you had on your coffee table, making sure it would peek out so you can spot it. even if you couldn’t spot it you knew exactly where he would hide it because he wasn’t exactly slick whilst hiding it. neither of you cared though, hiding it just made yushi happy so you let him think he was sneaky.
yushi was always perceived as cold and distant, yet you knew how warm he was. there were things that he shared with you that you knew he only shared with people he was the closest to, and there were times where you felt as though his sweet personality was almost too sweet for you; like you didn’t deserve it. in times like that he would remind you why you deserve him, showering you with love and his sweet kisses. yushi wasn’t cold or distant, he was just a tough shell to crack and you’re so glad he chose to let you in.
it wasn’t like your personality was far off from his own, the only difference being that in public you’re far more outgoing and talkative than he is but it doesn’t bother you or him, he could pay millions just to hear your sweet voice talking to him all day long. his form of paying millions is the act of the poems, small blurbs brightening up your life as you did his.
they were always sweet and short, sometimes they were about how much he loved you and other times it’s about whatever is on his mind. once, at a restaurant after date night he wrote a small blurb about the bread and butter they served in appetizer course, scribbling away on the napkin as you washed your hands in the restroom.
it didn’t matter what they were about, it meant something to you that he took time out of his day to do something he didn’t need to do. he wrote them with love, you could feel it as you read them, every word of his was laced with his own love for you. it was amazing how just a few words on a small slip of paper could make you feel so much warmth in your chest.
after he leaves the slips of paper in your apartment he acts as though he has no clue what you’re talking about, however he always manages to let go of the act when you start kissing his face all over. you leaned over, kissing his cheek then his forehead making him giggle. as he giggled more you kissed his face all over. “ah! quit it” he cried out in laughter, his hand holding your waist as you leaned back on the couch to look at his now flushed cheeks and messy hair.
“so did you like it?” he asked, tilting his head slightly as he always did. his hand remained in your waist, drawing small circles with his thumb as he looked in your eyes, a small smile on his face. “i loved it ushi. thank you” you mumbled, hand reaching up to hold his cheek. he smiled and buried his head in the crook of your neck, the heat from his cheeks feeling hot against your skin. you laughed softly, patting his head.
he lifted head after a couple minutes to see you smiling back at him. “i’m glad.. you loved it” he muttered, making you smile even more. “good” you said in response, leaning over to kiss his cheek softly. “should we watch our movie now or are you gonna keep blushing” you turned your head to face the tv and yushi groaned, throwing his head back on the couch. there was always something with yushi, no matter how big or small he made your life better day by day.

you looked at your reflection in the mirror, smoothing out any wrinkle you could see on your dress. you leaned closer to the mirror and let your gaze shift to jaehyun, who was sitting on the bed reading a book. you leaned back and cleared your throat softly, getting his attention immediately. you saw his head shoot up from the book and you focused your attention back on your reflection, pretending like you weren’t looking at him at all.
jaehyun smiled softly and got up from your shared bed, walking over to stand behind you. his hands rested on your waist as he looked at you in the mirror. “you look pretty babe,” he mumbled, pecking your cheek softly. you smiled and reached up to hold his face, thumb rubbing his cheek. you put your hand down to fix your bracelet. “the kids are asleep right?” you mumbled and he nodded, chin resting on the crook of your neck.
you turned around, facing jaehyun who only smiled softly. although you were wearing heels he still towered over you just enough to see the top of your head. his hands were still wrapped around your waist and you tilted your head, smiling. “i have to get my purse baby,” you patted his cheek and he groaned, his dimples starting to show because of his smile.
“and you have to go?” he let go of your waist, letting you walk over to your vanity to pick up your purse. “i haven’t seen them in forever babe come on,” you replied, picking up your lipstick to apply some more. jaehyun was a good man, and above that he was an even better husband and father. since the day your kids were born there wasn’t a day where you second guessed his ability to provide for you and your children. on top of that he let you do what you wanted, he trusted your judgement.
he knew you had been having a hard time at work recently and he knew you wanted a break to hang out with your friends, but the selfishness in his heart was telling him otherwise. “i could come with, i’m sure yejis husband would want to tag along too right?” you glanced at him and snickered, “he’s out of town, besides we said it was strictly us, no kids or husbands.” you gave him another look before looking back into the vanity mirror to fix your hair and makeup.
jaehyun groaned aloud and sat down on the edge of the bed, watching you. he always admired you from afar, even when you two were just dating. he was always a little too shy to say it so instead he just watched you from afar, admiring your subtle natural beauty. you turned around to face him once more, a soft pout at his lips.
“just stay yeah? we can watch that movie you wanted to watch” he muttered as you walked closer to him, standing in between his legs. his hands found their way to your waist once more and he looked up at you, rubbing your waist up and down. you reached your hand over to brush some hair away from his face and smiled softly. “no can do babe, i made a promise” you replied making him sigh and pull you in to hug you.
his head rested at your stomach, his fingers tracing shapes at the small of your back. “i have to leave jae” you said, a smile clear in your voice. jaehyun mumbled ‘no’ and held you closer if that was even possible. soon enough he pulled back to look up at you and you smiled, pushing some hair back once more. your hand held his cheek as he looked in your eyes. “please?” he mumbled and you shook your head no, smiling even more now. he was just too adorable.
“okay fine atleast give me a kiss before you go” he muttered, pulling back to stand up now. he stood in front of you and stuck his head our, cheek specifically so you could kiss him. you smiled, leaning in to kiss his cheek. “now can i head out?” you said and he shook his head, turning it to show his other cheek. you stared at him with a playfully annoyed expression and he smiled, poking his cheek so you could kiss it. you leaned in once more, kissing his other cheek.
“now?” you said and he shook his head again, leaning in so you could kiss his lips. his eyes were softly shut as he waited for you to kiss him once more. you sighed and leaned in, locking your lips with his. jaehyun loved kissing you, you always tasted so sweet and your perfume intoxicated him. like soft vanilla roses scent engulfing his senses.
just before he could deepen the kiss you pulled back, smiling softly. there was a soft tint of pink spread across his cheeks and ears as he looked back at you, pouting with flushed lips. you patted his cheek and stepped back. “call me, if anything happens or if you’re too drunk anything. just call me baby” he said, making you nod. “i know honey, now i’m really running late i gotta go” you said, checking your phone.
jaehyun sighed, nodding. “go go, i’ll wait up for you” he said, making you smile once more. you leaned in once more to peck his cheek and leaned back, waving goodbye as you left your bedroom to then leave the house. as the front door shut behind you, your cheeks flushed thinking about how cute your husband could be.
it seemed as if he had all the love in the world to give, and all of it just for you.
