I think the best way to summarize Lisa’s and Ann’s similarities would be:
Design callback and both are the lovers arcana. That’s it.
A lot about Lisa’s storyline was about rebelling against her father.
To summarize it specifically I will quote the Steven Silverman turn of the Great Father fight: “You are Japanese!”
Her father wants her to be a Yamato Nadeshiko (ideal Japanese woman/wife). Both of her parents are Japanophiles (her mother even has a Japanese name Akiko) and her father Steven is a reference to Steven Seagal living in Japan for years and being able to speak Japanese.

Lisa’s drug and enjokosai (high school girls or young housewives going out with older men to get presents, money etc. which doesn’t always have to be sexual and was a phenomenon in the 90s) phase is another form of rebellion against her parents and also helped to flesh out her friendship with Mami and Miho who she convinced to be rebellious as well.
Lisa also like Jun and Eikichi was bullied once. When she was young she was originally quiet shy and other kids mocked her for her looks. Once she got older people thought that she looked exotic though which irritated her a lot as she emphasizes in IS since she isn’t merely seen as a girl who has lived in Japan her entire life.
Same goes for people expecting her to be able to speak English since she is still considered a foreigner despite her being raised in Japan.
She at first also thought that Mami and Miho didn’t even particularly like her and just wanted to become more popular but it turns out that their friendship is actually genuine.
Speaking of Mami, Miho and Lisa:
They are like D&D. D&D were active around 1996-1999.
Lisa was probably modelled after Olivia Lufkin.
Olivia also looks very similiar to a shop assistant.
D&D also worked with the real life Sasaki Ginji, Komuro Tetsuya who also was the producer for hitomi who sung Kimi no Tonari for IS.
Lisa also has similarities to her Ultimate Persona Venus in the aspect that she often focused on popularity or being the prettiest (Aphrodite/Venus is often angry if other women are pretty/popular) however she grows a lot. Also it fits since Lisa is a Taurus (associated with the planet Venus).
Also a nice possible trivia: Zeus is often said to have been the one who arranged Aphrodite’s unhappy marriage to Hephaestus/Vulcanus thus Venus/Aphrodite also had a patriarchic figure with Zeus who influenced her life.
Unlike Lisa she is partial Japanese and partial Finnish and American. She unlike Lisa didn’t live her whole life in Japan since she used to live in Finland. Unlike Lisa in her teenage years Ann is not the most popular girl at her school.
She as a character is more of a common sense of the group character and doesn’t react how Lisa would react at all.
Ann’s parents are away mostly working as fashion designer unlike Lisa’s who are very present in her life (just see Lisa’s traditional Japanese house and her father immediately saying something like “Lisa, you should be more of a traditional Japanese girl” whenever you see him).
Ann also has a plotline with her friend Shiho however it is nothing like Lisa’s friendship with Mami and Miho. Ann finds the strenght to confront Kamoshida, awakened her Persona and avenged Shiho and the other victims.
Ann’s Zodiac is Scorpio fitting for her Persona Carmen (mysterious femme fatale woman) and Hecate (associated with magic and witchcraft).
Carmen also fits as her Persona since Carmen knows that she is getting herself into danger (she saw her fate that she will be killed by an ex-lover who doesn’t want to let her go in the cards) in the Carmen novel she tells her ex that she knows that he will kill her but “Carmen sera toujours libre.” (Carmen will always be free).
She doesn’t want to give in since she doesn’t want to be controlled.
