what a cute liver (except it doesnāt look like one)
Today Iām focusing on Chinese vocabulary, Iām rewriting the entire vocabulary lists of the ę±čÆę°“å¹³ččÆ, translated as theĀ Chinese Proficiency Test (it isĀ Chinaās only standardized test ofĀ Standard ChineseĀ language proficiencyĀ for non-native speakers such asĀ foreign students andĀ overseas Chinese) Level 1 being the easiest and level 6 the hardest. I personally have the HSK 4 and Iām studying for level 5! Re-writing all of the lists allows me to revise the Chinese vocabulary I might have forgotten how to write and simply boost my self confidence, because studying all the Chinese characters and remember how to write and pronounce them is a challenge! Have a nice productive Sunday guys!

hey yāall iām back
now i use a bujo and play dnd
as a studyblr with high grades I feel the need to put it out there, Iāve never pulled an all-nighter. Yes Iāve stayed up late in an effort to get assessment done but never past 11:30pm. I can count on two hands the times Iāve sacrificed my sleep and long term health for school. As a studyblr with sleep apnea and anxiety, to me it is not worth pulling all-nighters. Instead use your time effectively. Start assignments straight away and aim to have them finished two days before the due date and just going over and editing until itās due. The key to never having to sacrifice sleep is good planning and following through. Maybe itās that you should stay at school for an extra hour or two to get work done, or maybe itās that you need to wake up super early to work before school. Whatever it is, figure it out and carry through. Please donāt glorify bad sleeping habits, it hurts you more than you could know.
edit: I understand how not everybody can live this way and that sometimes mental/physical health leaves people unable to work during the day and have to sacrifice sleep in order to get stuff done. I have seen and experienced this and I know how hard it can be. My love and support is with you, you can get through this.
i made this drawing, later added a tiny note on it, putted into a tiny paper envelope with the lavender and gave it to a person i love. this simple gesture saying āi love you, care about you and am here for youā made someoneās day 100% better. if you can give and show love, do not hesitate
today is one of the days that i just donāt feel like doing anything + how do yāall keep your pens/highlighters/case clean? itās almost impossible to me!!!
Stop glorifying unhealthy study habits
Because not enough are talking about this
A lot of people (not just langblr, studyblr too )have been glamorizing the way Asians study in certain countries as depicted on tv, news , various media sources. Saying oh they are working so hard for their goal and look how dedicated they are. Please stop. Seriously. My degree is in psychology and I focus on mental health. Iāve done research in Korea and continue to take psychology classes in korean about various issues (Iāve taken cultural psych, neuro psych 1&2, psych of happiness and Iām currently taking psychology of addiction). Iāve also extensively talked to high schoolers in Korea about this ādedicated studyā and most of them said they were stressed to the point of having physical symptoms of being stressed out, almost half were depressed or showed symptoms of anxiety and I wonāt even get into things like suicidal thoughts, actual suicide, self harm, eating disorders that are also happening in correlation to study related stress manifesting itself in other ways. This isnāt just Korea. Iāve read research (just not as extensive about the same happening in other Asian countries and even some western now and days) Why the heck are yāall out here trying to glorify something that is clearly unhealthy and causing other people harm? And then promoting it to your followers as something to āmotivate themā ?
Getting into your dream school/ uni, becoming fluent in 2 month in a language, whatever is not worth it if you end up hating life, physically unhealthy or mentally ill as a result of it
Please reblog this because I think itās so important **
Important. I actually used to have the mindset of āI donāt care how much suffering I have to go through, as long as my grades are good.ā Can you believe that? So glad Iām in a different place now
as a korean currently attending a āspecialā korean high school, i want to boost this so hard.
