I love this part of the complete novel version because 1) their couch being used by everyone including Tim Shepard is a great part of the book and I’m glad they included it in this way and 2) Ponyboy turning into Mr. Hospitality just gets me every time. The kid spent a week in hiding and just rescued some kids from a fire but he’s still going to offer Tim food and let him know he can use their couch any time.
