One thing I absolutely adore about Steven Universe is that plus-sized characters are never treated as unlovable or unattractive. In a lot of cartoons, bigger characters are treated like a joke/gag instead of a person, especially if the character is a woman. But in Steven Universe, there are so many plus-sized characters and none of them are treated poorly because of their size, and I think that's really special to see, especially with a lot of the pressures put on girls from young ages to be skinny :)
