Yesterday afternoon my mom and I sat down for a good 90 minutes working on these goodie bags for the officers at my dad's department. I was so surprised to find out that there are only 9 officers protecting a city of almost 3 thousand. It really blew my mind and only made me have even more respect for these brave men and women. Inside the bags are different little candies. On the outside is a pin back button I made holding together a ribbon and a small tag which reads:

So last night my #hedgehog Pixie spilled water in her cage and soaked her blanket. Since it was an old tattered thing I threw it away thinking she had another one buried somewhere. Later I found her curled up sleeping in a corner. I felt horrible. So I took my boyfriend's #lootcrate box from last month, cut a hole in it for the door, and plopped it in her cage. She immediately went in and began rolling around. This morning I found her "renovating" by digging out all of the bedding from her box and stuffing her little pillow into the box.
