My comeback didn’t turn out the way I imagined.

So, in 2023, I stopped playing Obey Me. It’s not like I didn’t like it anymore; it was just adulthood—doing adult stuff and all. (But honestly, I did rage-quit after spending a lot of money trying to obtain a Satan card and failing...)

Now, after graduating, getting married, and starting my master’s degree, that ad about “Obey Me ’til death do us apart” came to me — AND HERE WE GO AGAIN!!

Somehow, I feel divided. I love Satan to death, but I feel like we lost something without Solomon as a romanceable option. Yes, I’d choose Satan over Solomon, but… I DIDN’T LIKE NOT HAVING THE OPTION to choose Satan over Solomon.

Look, I was there when Simeon, Diavolo, Solomon, and Barbatos were added to the intimacy system. IT WAS CRAZY!! Solomon was always my favorite side character, so it was really nice to see him gain an important role in the narrative. But now, I feel so bad for him and the others… Like restarting from zero? They were romance options for so long—why take them away?

It’s hard to come back knowing that I lost so much time in the game, and now the things I cared about back then simply disappeared. It’s a new game with new rules… EVERYTHING IS NEW!! Is it a mistake to come back? Maybe I’m too old for this? Or is it just the feeling of being left aside? I don’t know.

But I feel so happy to come back—like I should never have left, yet also like it’s no longer my place.

So as most people know by now we are lacking a birthday event for asmo. Well it turns out that obey me has confirmed in an email that they will no longer be doing birthday events for the boys. All the birthday cards will be in the nightmare. The devs are fully aware that the fans are upset by this sudden change and they have not made a single announcement in regards to this information.

Down below you will see the remaining boys who will be not get a future birthday event. I’m sorry to be the one to share the news but knowing obey me they probably won’t publicly announce this change.

I would highly suggest for players to not spend any money on obey me because it’s unreasonable for them to hide a guaranteed ur card behind a paywall. The birthday events are the one annual event where we can celebrate our favorite boys while also getting to know them more on their special day. But now obey me are making money hungry decisions that benefit them more than the players enjoyment of the game.
