Lucifer used to struggle to get Mammon to bed back in the Celestial Realm. Now Mammon struggles to make sure Lucifer actually goes to bed instead of trying to go several months without sleeping.
Lucifer read all of the Batman comics wanting to understand what Mammon liked about comics and got invested. Jason was his favourite robin because he reminded Lucifer of Mammon. He was not prepared for Death in the family and would not let Mammon out of his sight for a week.
Mammon likes randomly going into Lucifer's office, doing nothing except stand there for ten seconds, and then leaving. It makes Lucifer so stressed because he doesn't know what Mammon's doing.
The HoL caught on fire and when Lucifer was about to run back inside Mammon decked him yelling that it Lucifer did not have to save them all. Asmo was technically believed to be inside but he had jumped out the window very prettily. Lucifer refused to listen when Mammon tried to make him understand that he's a person worth saving too and he didn't want Lucifer going in looking to save someone that wasn't there.
Lucifer doesn't have nightmares only about Lilith dying in his arms, sometimes it's Mammon and he's the one that killed him. Mammon doesn't know this and is very confused when Lucifer suddenly ends lectures short because when he looks at Mammon all he can remember is the bruised face with forgiving eyes he saw in that dream. Mammon always would have forgiven him.
Before Mc, Mammon would bring food to Lucifer's office. Occasionally when Lucifer was particularly pissy, Mammon would throw an apple at his desk or face and run for his life while screaming "EAT".
Mammon likes sitting in Lucifer's office and talking in brainrot. Lucifer only allows this because at least Mammon's bot at the casino and in hopes that if he hears Mammon talk enough, he may become delusional enough to understand what Mammon is saying.
Mammon will challenge Lucifer to a game of checkers and eat Lucifer's pieces when Lucifer isn't looking. He cannot do this with chess since it's easier to see what's missing.
Lucifer got Mammon two gold 50-caliber desert pistoleros for his birthday. Something about a "nicepool"? Lucifer doesn't get it, but Mammon's happy.
Mammon has called Lucifer dad (canon in chats) and it isn't a one off. After the third time, Mammon started thinking about why he is like this before figuring out that Lucifer was parentified, he knew something was wrong he couldn't put it words until he thought hard about it. Mammon didn't know how to fix it so he tried solving the others problems so Lucifer wouldn't have to. It went as well as expected, which wasn't well at all not because Mammon failed, but because the others didn't want Mammon's help.
Lucifer will welcome any of his brothers to his room if they are feeling unwell, Mammon goes in the most often after Mc leaves because of Lesson 16 so he doesn't have to be alone. He always steals something by morning so he can pretend he didn't actually need Lucifer's comfort but Lucifer knows.

- Scents are very important to demons. They can tell others the demon’s power level, social status, territory, age, physical state(amount of sleep/exercise/diet/etc), emotional state and where they’ve been recently.
- They have glands on their cheeks, neck, palms of their hands, and soles of their feet(like deer)
- DEMONS BISCUIT MAKING(the thing where cats knead if you don’t know)
- Beel is the one who biscuit makes the most. He does it to self-soothe when he gets anxious or to comfort one of his brothers.
- Because he’s built like a brick house, his kneading is actually a pretty good massage although it takes him a bit to remember to be gentler on mc.
- One time he accidentally kneaded MC so hard they bruised and he felt so bad he cried.
- Demons who live together and scent each other and each other’s things often will form a “family scent” which is one singular scent that’s formed from all of their scents mingling together.
- Covering up someone’s scent on you is basically saying that you don’t like them anymore so don’t put on any perfume/cologne or they’ll get offended. Showers are fine though, you’d have to wash multiple times, without them scenting you in between, to fully get rid of it.
- Demon scents are much stronger than human’s so the brother’s scents usually overpower your own which ends up confusing other demons a lot until they realize you’re that human exchange student they heard about. There have been times where you’ve been mistaken as one of the brothers in disguise.
- You can’t smell their scents really but they can smell YOURS. Well the brothers can at least. It’s a bit eery at first to get used to them being like “how was John today?” When you didn’t tell them that you talked to John, nor were they even in the same store you met John in.
- They can also smell if you’re happy or sad so good luck trying to hide your emotions!
- You’re the weakest member of their family and so they tend to anxiously scent you up into the equivalent of that one kid from the Christmas story but with scents instead of clothes.
- If you spend too much time outside of the house or away from the brothers and don’t smell like them anymore they’ll get pissed at you. Mainly it’s because they worried that another demon might not realize you’re with them and try to hurt you.
- You’ve had multiple instances where some haughty looking demons go to approach you, then the wind changes direction. They get a nosefull of the brother’s scent, then go ‘fuck no’ and turn on their heels.
- You can smell their scents but only the surface part of it. You can tell who’s scent is who’s if they’re standing close to you but that’s it.
- They also do the thing wolves do where they rub a scent on themselves to show their friends/family.
- They also purr because I said so.
- Demons high up in the hierarchy generally flaunt their scents more while it’s rude for lesser demons to take up a lot of “scent space”
- Scenting someone without permission or something that’s not yours is a challenge of dominance. Basically saying ‘I own you/this and there’s nothing you can do about it’
- It’s one of the reasons Lucifer and Barbatos wear gloves. They’re around Diavolo a lot and don’t want to be improper. Even though Diavolo considers all of them close and asks Lucifer to scent him all the time.
- Because of the glands on their feet it’s considered really rude to go barefoot in another persons house.
- I don’t really have any headcannons on their individual scents. It’s not like omegaverse where they smell like coffee or something they just have that distinct animal scent. Although, they will always faintly have the scents of their surroundings on them, so Lucifer does indeed smell like coffee a lot.
- Asmo still wears some perfume but it’s light and doesn’t cover up his or his brother’s scents.
- To humans they just smell like other humans but with an undertone of iron.
- They tend to stare at you sometimes because they can’t find your weak scent under all of theirs which triggers the instinct of ‘family member missing’ so they need that visual confirmation that you’re there.
- They get nervous when a member of their family is gone for a while and their scent fades from the house. If you go back to the human realm it takes them a while to get used to the absence of your scent.
- During the exchange event, there were many times someone would catch Beel asleep with one of Belphie’s clothes or blankets pressed up against his nose. He’d also sometimes sleep in his twins bed but only when he REALLY missed him because he didn’t want to accidentally cover up the scent.
- The same way an absence of a scent can make a demon anxious, scents can also make them calm down and Satan will sometimes sniff areas his brothers scented to help clear his head when his other anger management techniques aren’t working.
- Originally, they hated mc’s scent for disrupting the scent ‘ecosystem’ but eventually they started to see you more as ‘family’ and your scent was welcome.
Could I please get headcannons or fic(whichever is easiest for you) of the demon brothers realizing that mc’s initial fear of them wasn’t because they were demons but because they were MEN. Like mc not caring that they’re literally eating someone but always watching their drinks, putting extra locks on their doors/windows, always covering up their skin as best as they can(not saying that someone showing skin is asking to be assaulted, just that mc is trying to reduce all possible risk), etc.
I believe you’ve stated in worldbuilding headcannons that sexual abuse cases are very rare in the devildom. It’s not that they’re unaware of it it’s just that they don’t live in a world where sexual assault/rape is something they have to be constantly worried about so it doesn’t really cross their minds that it’s why mc acts so oddly.

so I technically wrote that in When Affection calls fic from forever ago but I haven't finished that since I didn't write the twins or sides (it's in my drafts I prommy). I will finish it, but I'll do headcanons for this since we already have the nice in depth fic to enjoy. Mc is still gender neutral, but afab is generally implied. Unfortunately I missed Asmo and Belphie, but it would take Belphie all of 5 seconds before he blows up the human realm.
Brothers 12346 X Mc
TW: SA, the files, murder/a little cannibalism, mentions for the possibility of it being religion/family related SA,
Lucifer did not care at first. Mc had just arrived and he was under the impression they were trying to seem less like food for demon or using cloth to protect themselves from attack which he thinks is pathetic because cloth cannot protect someone from an angry demon.
Lucifer helps them put extra locks on their doors. He thinks it's silly since all his brothers are too lazy to get up in the middle of the night anyway but it's only fair since they do barge in without knocking.
Lucifer grows confused once they seem closer, he's paying attention now and trying to be more accommodating and friendly. He guesses they are more like a cat, since they seem to enjoy affection only on their terms so he'll appreciate the moments they let him hold their hand.
Lucifer starts to notice how their hand covers their drinks at all times and how they abandon it if their eyes are off it for even a second. He doesn't understand, he has no reference point for this behaviour and asks them directly. Lucifer does not learning that humans drug female and female presenting human's drinks nor how that ends and asks more.
once Lucifer is thoroughly traumatised by all the things that happen to some human wo- "pardon, they do this to children? And your world leaders did what?" Lucifer is burning down the human realm himself, Mc wants to let him but that would be bad so they use their pact to make him sit.
Lucifer doesn't want to believe Mc when they say every woman/fem presenting has experienced this potentially before the age of sixteen but considering everything they just told him he has to believe it. He doesn't want to let them go back to the human realm where he cannot make sure nothing happens to them again.
Lucifer, once he calms down, explains how this doesn't happen in hell since A: consent in out of wedlock affairs means more people sinning and B: if someone won't there's always someone else who will. He knows this information won't magically fix Mc's anxiety, but he does want them to have a little less stress.
Lucifer stops touching Mc without consent in any way (He usually grabs their shoulder when passing so that stops). He's very patient, he wants to touch Mc so he's taking their acceptance of headpats as a win. He is also fascinated by how they don't care he just swallowed someone whole for insulting Leviathan but gets upset at touch.
If Mc doesn't open up about their personal experiences, Lucifer won't make them. They could be thirty years married to him and he still wouldn't them talk about what might have been done to them, he doesn't need to know. If they open up to him then he's probably going to kill whoever touched them, unless Mc wants to do it themselves then he brings the body to them.
Lucifer will pout if Mc says he's not allowed because it was a family member, until he realises they said family member and get angry on their behalf again. He glares at all the men in the human realm when he is with Mc and it's extra unsettling because it's Lucifer. Was it the church? Well he can go burn it down for them, especially when he learns about how the church will always defend the perpetrator.
Mammon does know why Mc is so skittish around him when they could just order him to sit when he's being too much. He knows it's real good to be wary as a human in the Devildom, but they don't gotta flinch every time he touches their shoulder.
Mammon is confused that Mc is confused that he stops touching them whenever they ask. Sure he loves cuddles and headpats but if Mc doesn't like it then he isn't doing it, he doesn't understand why that's so hard for them to understand.
He gets a little upset when Mc adds an extra lock on their door, but also helps them if they wanna add another since the Devildom must be really scary for a human. Begs Lucifer to help him put a special ward on Mc's door so only those welcome can enter since he wants them to feel safe, even if that means he gets locked out too.
Mammon sees Mc wearing layers and believes they're just cold. Honestly the Devildom is freezing and he remembers how his brothers got all shivery before they adapted to it. He buys them extra jackets and gives them some of his own so they don't get colder, he likes helping and seeing the human in his jacket.
Mammon doesn't ask questions, he will if something happened while Mc was under the House of Lamentation's roof, but he doesn't need to know what Mc's been through. Might snoop through their room for shiny things or to steal a jacket but he's not the type to steal a diary, he's tempted but he's respecting their privacy, takes their class notes instead since his are shit.
He says literally nothing until Mc flinches away from Simeon. He was a demon so flinching away from him made sense, but Simeon? Yeah, he's gotta ask now because that's weird. He starts thinking they have a skin condition until they clarify.
Mammon does not like what he's learned from Mc. That shouldn't be something anyone has to go through, especially since they now have to miss out on cuddles and actually having fun at parties.
Mammon takes Mc to parties and he pays a lot of attention. He watches Mc's drink for them when they go to the bathroom since he's proven to be behaved. He does steal sips from the drink but anyone coming near it gets glared at.
Mammon doesn't mind Mc not liking touch since they said they were fine giving him head pats. Yes he wants more because he is greedy, but he'll be patient this time because Mc might be upset. However when he does have issues with getting greedy over Mc's touch then he cross dresses because being a man is the issue, so if he's a girl he can get a hug (peak Mammon logic).
If Mc chooses to further elaborate on personal experiences, whoever did it suddenly finds themselves in extreme poverty and if it was a family member he drags them to Satan so Satan can have a new stress toy to beat up. If it has anything to do with the church then suddenly they're in debt and Asmo exposes the member that did it while pinning Mammon burning the building down on them as well.
Leviathan immediately assumes Mc just hates him, as he does. He showers twice a day now to be less gross which is what he thinks is going on up until Mc flinches away from Simeon.
Leviathan doesn't ask Mc directly and consults the internet because Someone on reddit has probably had the same issue five years ago. He finds multiple potential answers, maybe Mc is super sensitive to touch, maybe they had a rash because they do keep their skin covered, perhaps Mc also feels gross sometimes. He gets nothing on assault since it's a non-issue in the Devildom.
He considers that Mc was still skittish with all the demons just around, but they were also more concerned with Beel not making a mess on the carpet when he ate some dude that was trying to break in.
Leviathan doesn't get it at all, but asking would be weird right? Especially from a gross guy like him. He's still curious so he takes the most roundabout ways to get Mc to open up and breaks down. It's really just Leviathan being Leviathan, he dies when Mc pats his back in worry since he broke in front of them.
Leviathan tries again by inviting them to his room for anime marathons. He leaves the door open, he wants an escape route if he says something stupid, has no idea how comforting it was for Mc to also have a getaway route.
Unfortunately the anime Leviathan chose was KonoSuba. He's usually pretty good at giving warnings without spoiling the plot but completely forgot about Kazuma harassing women since he's more used to "everyone dies" warnings. He actually doesn't see it until Mc looks sick and disappointed. He doesn't quite touch Mc to comfort them, his hand kinda hovers over their shoulder and he just says "it's not like people are actually like that".
mc, what do you mean almost all men, AN ACADEMY?! 70 MILLION ON THE TELEGRAM?! He hates the human realm. He also changes the anime to Pretty Pretty Precure while he reconsiders the actions of human men. He doesn't ask Mc if anything has happened to them, however Mc can feel him staring like looking at them will make the answer appear on their face... mc... what do you mean most women get hurt like this before they turn sixteen.
Leviathan leaves abruptly and just asks Mc to stay there. Mc can hear Leviathan arguing with Lucifer about wiping out humans. They didn't know Leviathan could stand his ground like that and Lucifer would be compelled by Leviathan's argument just because Leviathan's usually spineless, but it would kill the victims too if he flooded the earth. They negotiated that Solomon was fair game since he had 900 wives and wouldn't die.
Once he's back and they finish their marathon, Leviathan filters through all his human realm anime and he sees it. He doesn't like what he's seeing nor does he enjoy having to throw so much out. Luckily most Devildom anime is normal-ish.
Leviathan is physically incapable of touching another living being without panicking so he has no problem not touching Mc.
Leviathan doesn't ask Mc any more questions since it was heavily implied in their last mention of it. If they do open up about something, Beel is getting a snack (Cerberus is starting to get fat). If it was a family member, words could not begin to describe his anger. When it comes to the church, he is actually not surprised at all, he has a human religion phase possibly related to religious anime characters and knows way more than about abuse in the church than he would like to.
Satan had a true crime phase and he knows a thing or two, he just doesn't know how big this issue actually is in the human realm so he just assumes Mc is scared of demons, which is perfectly reasonable.
Satan accidentally ripped off their door in a rampage once. He apologised once he was calm but he didn't understand why Mc looked so scared and was talking about hotels when they could just stay in someone else's room for a bit. He knows Beel and Belphegor don't mind sleeping together to give Mc the extra bed.
Mc looked like they were going to have a panic attack when the brothers insisted they stay in one of their rooms. He doesn't like the feeling he gets so he pays for their hotel room himself and walks them there too. Lucifer not objecting at all and Asmodeus not trying to get Mc in his bed perhaps should have been a warning sign.
He stays for a bit with them, trying to understand why they're inspecting the hotel room for hidden cameras. Satan doesn't like what they tell him about men putting cameras in the room to watch random women change. It gets progressively worse the more Mc talks but talking seems to calm them down so he doesn't ask questions until the end, in which his first is what the actual fuck?
He understood watching drinks in bars but because of a disgrace of an educational institution women need to watch their food at home too? He cannot even comprehend dress codes, demons often go to RAD in just their undergarments during the summer classes, women included and no one fucking stares, if they do they get their eyes plucked out.
Satan's solution was making violence legal in the human realm. I mean, getting your eyes gouged out for staring only needs to happen once for someone to learn a lesson, it is biblical after all. He questions everything he's learned about the Celestial Realm once he hears about priest stereotypes not being a stereotype because a church is a reflection of what it worships.
He leaves Mc be once they finish searching for hidden cameras and has a giant gift basket waiting when they get home as an apology for the door. Also yes, he did kill a bunch of people in the human realm but they are unimportant. We don't know how he got a hold of the files, he just did and even the House of Light is turning a blind eye right now.
Satan doesn't usually touch people but now he is so aware when anyone touches Mc or if he has an opportunity he has to consider if it will scare them. He probably only touches them if they feel ok coming into his room and he has to pull them out of a pile of falling books. Mc's concern is no longer if Satan will hurt them, it's how the hell has he not died from being buried alive in books.
Satan observes much of Mc's behaviour and he takes notes of their responses to things. By the time the exchange program ends he has a full paper on the effects of human male behaviour on other humans and how detrimental it is to quality of life.
Beel finds out the day he accidentally blows through their wall. He felt a bit bad seeing them so scared of him so he let them have his bed while he took the couch.
Usually humans are fine after an hour so Beel doesn't understand why Mc is still shaking. He asks and doesn't understand why they said they were uncomfortable rooming with a "man" instead of anything about him being a demon.
Just hearing that men do that regularly in the human realm traumatises Beel. So Beel gives Mc a nice knife. It's very big, he says he doesn't mind if they accidentally stab him since demons as strong as him and his brothers regenerate pretty fast. Just don't tell Mammon, Mammon would get jealous of the knife pretty fast.
Once Mc is back in their own room he promises to help them reinforce the door with locks and such.
Beel would listen if Mc had more to say, but they still seemed shaken up so he got them a couple more blankets. He spends the night considering things about humans and does his own research.
Beel will wonder if Belphegor was right about wanting to annihilate humanity, but the victims are humans too. He discovers government offender lists which include addresses and starts hunting to feel better. Suddenly Mc isn't eating the same meat as them at dinner, apparently it is very bad for them.
After this Beel is paying more attention. He notices Mc covering their drinks around them all and not eating a lot of what was given to them in case it was drugged, not something he enjoyed discovering. He occasionally did a demonstration of both self control and confirmation it wasn't poisoned by taking small bites off Mc's plate to show that it was ok. He even gave them a little of his if they were still hungry. Only a little, but there's still dessert for him to eat.
Beel's not exactly a partygoer and he can't be trusted not to consume whatever Mc hands him but having this huge guy behind them when they head up home for a bit must make them feel safe since all the human men aren't going to mess with this absolute unit of a man.
Beel has probably only initiated contact three times, twice to pat their back in comfort and the third was him trying to protect Mc from acid rain by stuffing them in his jacket.
If Beel learns it was a family member or that other family members covered it up, it is game over for Mc's family. Not that Beel would actually consider them Mc's family because Family doesn't do that.
