Darious nods. “Know the name is putting it lightly. I’ve actually spoken directly to her myself. Heck, for very similar reasons have I been able to communicate to her. In my world, I was chosen by her to essentially save the world. So, if she is this world’s god, then it makes sense you’re meant to restore the light. Since light is considered her specialty.” He explains to Niko. Though, admittedly, he wonders why Hydalyn is this world’s god? Was this world the 1st? Or perhaps another shard around the Source?
Before he can ponder any further though, he and Niko hear a female voice in their heads. Leading with the lines so familiar to Darious. “Hear…feel…think…my children, I am sorry you must take on such a burden as this. Know that you are chosen for you have the strength to carry it. Find the center of this world and make your way there. You will find your answers you seek there.” She says.
Darious looks a bit shocked when she finishes. “Well now…you heard that too, right Niko?” He asks him.
Niko listened to Darious explaining how he knew of this Hydalyn name and blinks. So she was a god of his world too? Well... It was a relief then that they weren’t alone to do this. They were teamed up with someone else who knew her. That was comforting that they weren’t alone in this.
Though that didn’t prepare them to hear a voice in their head. The poor child jumped, thankfully holding the Sun securely as to not drop it. Was that... Was that Hydalyn? She sounded really nice. They look up to the tall man before nodding with a smile.
“I did! She wants us to reach the center of the world right? Well that looks like where the tower is so perhaps if we return the Sun there we’ll figure out how to get home. It’ll be nice to see Mama again after all this.”
