i will continue being offline but one thing happened here so

oops... a little more news

hello...

i'm technically still on my offline break, but i slipped back onto tumblr just to share a tiny update.

i might have an opportunity to work as an interpreter (english ↔ ukrainian). i think it's project-based or part-time, but honestly... i don't know yet. i also don't know how (or if) i'll combine it with motherhood. it's all still very much a "maybe."

i recently received my c2 english certificate and it made me think... maybe i already have a skill i genuinely want to use. even if we end up moving to canada one day, interpretation seems like something that could travel with me.

the funny thing is... i don't want to hustle anymore. i don't want an exhausting 9 to 5. i don't want my job to become my personality. i don't really enjoy the performance part of work culture.

but i do enjoy the skills part.

i like languages. i like helping people understand each other. i like learning. i like becoming better at something.

i've had a bit of a crisis over what a "career" is supposed to be. i got tired of the idea that success means burning yourself out until you're a machine. i'm hoping there's another way to exist.

maybe work doesn't have to take over your life. maybe it can just... fit into it.

anyway, i don't want to say too much before i've actually tried it.

but... what if?
