Hey everyone!! I’m participating in the Fic Writers for Reproductive Rights charity drive. Hopefully by now, you know the drill, but in case this hasn’t hit your dash from another writer, here’s the drill:

I’m writing fic to raise money for organisations that protect reproductive rights. Send me a screenshot of your donation here on Tumblr either in my DMs or through Asks (careful to remove any personal details!) and tell me which idea you would like me to write. The prompt with the most votes wins! (Remember—this is votes NOT amount of money donated, so every vote counts the same!) Here’s what I’m throwing out there for Fexi/Cash prompts:

(1) Firebug (Cash & Fexi) — Gus was a firefighter who died in the line of duty when a drug lab blows up. Cassie winds up chasing after firefighters, while Lexi swears them off after seeing how her sister gets treated/how reckless Gus was. Ash gets assigned to Gus’ old house & meets Cassie and the proverbial sparks fly! While Cassie & Ash get closer, Lexi meets Ash’s brother Fez, an undercover cop/DEA agent, and hit it off. (Multi chapter)

(2) Soul Tats (Fexi & Cash) — In a world where soulmates wind up with tattoos representing something meaningful to them both, Fez & Ash run an underground tattoo parlor offering cover-ups & removals for second chances to people desperate to forget their soulmates, and fake soulmate tattoos for people who want a say in who they fall in love with. When the Howard sisters come in looking to change their stars, the O’Neill brothers’ lives will never be the same… (Multi chapter)

(3) Shore Patrol (Fexi) — Lexi is a member of East Highland’s Shore Patrol, Fez is the surfer who’s the bane of her existence. As summer winds down, will they finally act of the undeniable chemistry between them? (Probably a 1 shot, maybe 2 chapters)

Season 3 rewrite

Rue: Yo, Howard! O'Neil! It’s Bennett, open up!

Lexi: Hey!

Rue: Hey.

Lexi: Fez! Rue's here! Fez! ... urgh he's snaking the drain, he's obsessed with it.

Sometimes Lexi and Fezco would let me crash on their couch.

Fezco had served 5 years of a 10 year sentence as an accessory to murder as part of a plea deal. He'd worked with the DEA and handed them Laurie and her crew.

Lexi was working in Hollywood on a nighttime soap.

Fez had learnt carpentry while in jail and Lexi had gotten him a job on set.

They were doing good.

Small Fandom Summer 2026!

For the fourth year in a row now, it's time for Small Fandom Summer! Join me for Small Fandom Summer! It's real easy to play:

“Do it scared” “do it alone” are all great tips, but my biggest takeaway from therapy is do it messy. This is especially true if you’re getting out of a burnout, which I experience often. Literally just do it messy. You don’t need to pick the perfect trail to walk, the perfect playlist to listen to, whatever the fuck it is. You don’t need to have a meticulous to do list and wake up at the exact time you planned and drink the exact amount of water you planned to drink. Like the biggest thing for people like me to remember is sometimes it’s okay to do it messy. Put on a random yt workout and just get it done in sweats. Do 5 minutes of a daunting task and go from there. Sometimes just getting up is a win during intense burnouts or depressive funks. Literally just do it messy.

When I was training to be a battered women’s advocate, my supervisor said something that really blew my mind:

“You can always assume one thing about your clients; and that is that they are doing their best. Always assume everyone is doing their best. And if they’re having a day where their best just isn’t that great, or their best doesn’t look like your best, you have to be okay with that.”

Any now whenever anyone in my life, either a friend or a client, frustrates me, disappoints me, or pisses me off, I just tell myself They are doing their best. Their best isn’t that great today, but I have days where my best isn’t that great either.
