We have a flower, a (teddy) bear, a duck, and a butterfly. Are we making a whole ecosystem or what?? /SILLY
i love my mutuals
I think trans women who still present masculinely are awesome
I think trans women who still look like boys are awesome
I think trans women who don't have the time or money to look more femininely are awesome
I think trans women who want to transition but are scared of what their family would think are awesome

trans men version
Jax might be the most popular trans woman in media. Shes a main character (alongside pomni) in one of the most successful indie series of all time, and she is repeatedly shown struggling with dysphoria and internalized misogyny/transphobia. and nobody had any problems with that until they put a bow on her and said it outright in the finale.
Why do you think her being trans wasn't confirmed until the finale? coincidentally why did so many prior TADC fans seemingly jump ship as soon as episode 9 came out? (they have the same answer!)
Jax's story is about a trans girl who hates herself and is suffering because of transphobia. Her struggles are deeply personal and brutally realistic to what it means to be trans, so of course she connected with millions of struggling trans people. But she could never have had this impact if people knew she was trans in episode one.
Jax became one of the most famous instances of trans representation because she benefited from people treating her as cis and giving her attention accordingly.
so of course they would be mad and hate the finale, it told them that the entirety of the show they had been watching a trans girl, promoting her message that trans people are struggling, and that we should be supported.
But people weren't ready to admit that they had seen themselves in her, they had accidentally sympathized with the people they demonized, they had seen her struggles as one of their own and promoted her. But "hes trans?? he cant be!" and "the series was bad anyway" is their response to creating and elevating a message that will teach so many trans woman that they aren't alone, and that they can heal.

I WAS RIGHT MOTHERFUCKERS!!!!
white ppl will steal every aesthetic from black culture and then call it something so stupid like bo derek braids instead of box braids or hasbin hotel core instead of black southern dandism. yall will bend over backwards to call my culture barbaric/scary just to drool over the aesthetic the moment no actual black people are involved (21 pilots vs actual reggae). And if ur white/nonblack reading this just reblog. I dont need any comments talking about how not racist you are + speaking up over actual black people.
i really need thumb rodya to come out
all I will say is that I think this movie is incredibly important media in current year.
to have something made by a trans woman be such a global success to THIS scale, something completely indie too, and so well recognized and have the reach it has.
breaking things down to the basics, gooseworx is a trans woman who posts art online. and in current year, with the current political climate, to have a regular trans woman make something so important?
I'm a trans woman that posts art online. a whole hell of a lot of my friends and family are too.
maybe I could do what goose has done.
happy pride month
this one kinda hurts when i see it every pride month. im glad to see an art piece of mine still circulating, and with nearly 100,000 notes too! it just hurts that im separated from it. everyone in the notes thinks im gone. im still here, but my potential community and connection is lost because im forgotten in place of the art. yeah, my deactivated profile does add to the profoundness of what i was saying, but i am still removed.
Like a person who lives without eating... [x]
staring at the dessert menu and twirling my hair and going "should I be baaaaddd" until the autistic girl I'm eating with says "there is nothing bad about eating dessert. it is a morally neutral action"
LOGIC [Trivial: Success] -
Yeah IG Limbus is still a gacha game and has the problems all gachas have but if anyone criticizes it I'll kill myself
honestly I dont call it a gacha game more like a story game, sure theres a gacha to it but like you dont NEED it to progress cause you can eventually get all ids just takes time unlike other gachas ive played where you have to use the gacha to grt good characters, when I say you dont need it you cam eventually shard every id just gonna have to wait a bit :p but still the gacha is there and best to be used lol, but i consider it more of a story game with a gacha on the side :3
TBH I feel like fans of almost every gacha insist on how the gacha isn't essential, though I am inclined to agree for Limbus, having experienced Genshin's horrendous "Here's an OP character you have to have to complete the game who you can only get once a year and a half for 400 billion dollars ^_^".
And no matter how much you insist the story is good, these people either won't believe you or will play the first canto (WHICH ISN'T EVEN THAT BAD) and call it shit and judge the whole game by it. And it matters to me what other people think so I'm offended that I can't change everyone and make them have the same opinions as me
The post that triggered this one was about gacha devs being """generous""" with the currency they made up, which is a point mentioned in every review of Limbus, so I felt defensive for no reason and. Well. You see
Ples there's still battle passes and limited content which is all predatory so... Can't glaze it too much
Even if we consider the battle pass I think that Limbus handles it very well, like sure it's very much still a predatory practice but it's very "bypassable" in a way
The pass is pretty easy to complete even if you play once a week. I managed to complete it within the month Season 7 Started. And I don't have the paid pass, but I don't feel like I miss out on anything important. Sure there's E.G.O., and an announcer, but there ain't much exclusive stuff to miss there.
Even then, say you WANT the pass exclusive E.G.O., then just.... wait. Yes, it's a LONG wait, but it's not like you have to endlessly grind for it. Wait two seasons and then the E.G.O. you want is just right there in the dispenser.
It's very much accessible to a f2p audience unlike other Gachas. Again, not to excuse predatory practices, but it's very much a good direction.
You guys ever see a DNI that makes you break out into laughter and almost cry
