It was only his second day in Alola, and he was already getting his first Pokemon! How exciting was that?? 

Elios wasn’t sure who to pick- they all looked really cool and they all had a lot of potential, he could tell. It all came down to his choice, but how could he choose between three wonderful Pokemon? Finally, after much debate, one of them came up to him and prodded his legs. It was the fire type, Litten. Elios looked down at it in curiosity, then grinned.

“Want me to choose you, huh? How can I say no to that?” he said, picking up the fire cat. Litten purred in his arms and the boy felt so special to be picked, when he was supposed to do the picking!

It’s the fire-type trial captain, Kiawe!

You still remember his trial pretty clearly. You had to do it a couple times before you managed to finally defeat the totem pokémon.It was super strong, what could you say?

Kiawe himself is a really cool guy. You thought he looked awesome when he did his dances, and you really admire the care he gives his pokémon! Admittedly, you haven’t talked to him too much, especially as of late. You should fix that. Actually, you decide to write down everyone you need to visit now that you’re back around Alola for a while.

It’s the professor!

Kukui was the first person you met from Alola, and he helped you begin your journey off on the right foot. You owe a lot to him, and you’re very grateful for what he’s done for you.

He’s... strange, but that’s what makes Kukui so unique. His personality stands apart from the rest and it’s honestly fun being around him. Once you walked in while he and Rockruff were testing out moves and you panicked thinking he was hurt- but he was just fine. ...Somehow.

You haven’t checked in with him lately... Maybe you should call or visit sometime? Hopefully he won’t be too busy.

Well, if it isn’t Selene! 

You and her have been good friends for a long time now. Like you, she had moved in before starting her journey, and that was the starting point of your friendship! 

She was always stronger than you, even by a little. Still, it didn’t bother you one bit- you liked to travel more, anyway. Besides, you’re more than proud of her accomplishments! 

You hadn’t talked to Selene in a little while, since you’ve been away on a trip. But you’re back now, so why not catch up?
