âWhy do you beat yourself up so much over little mistakes?â
May I just point out that no one ever managed to kill Tony Stark. They tried for years. Individuals, armies, the limits of human biology. He beat them all. He beat death time and time again. Tony Stark died, yes. He was only human. But no one killed him, and more importantly, no one defeated him. Tony Stark made a choice to die so that those he loved could live. He beat death until he decided it was time to go, and I think itâs important to remember that.
Everyone is sad, everyone is handling their grief differently, and thatâs fair and good. But just remember that he knew what he was doing, and he did it for everyone, and know that he never gave an enemy the satisfaction of beating him, because heâs the unbeatable, Invincible Iron Man.

why isnât anyone allowed to be wrong anymore? itâs okay to be wrong. no one should be terrified of every tiny little mistake they might make. being wrong, and realizing you were wrong, is how you learn and grow and change.

You gotta see the reaction when this German Shepard realizes his owner isnât behind himâŚ

The worst trick a childhood anxiety disorder pulls is, you spend your early years being applauded for being so much more mature than your peers, because you arenât disruptive, you donât want any kind of attention, you donât express yourself, you keep yourself to yourself - this makes you a pleasure to have in class, etc etc - and you start to believe itâs virtue. But youâre actually way behind your peers in normal social development, and who knows if you can ever catch up.
Never heard a truer thing in my life.
holy shit wait you mean being just morbidly terrified of doing anything wrong ISNâT necessarily the same as being âwell behaved?!â
Convenient children =/= healthy children
Convenient children do not equal healthy children

Me, anytime I hear A Noiseâ˘ď¸ at night:
âI wish I had the time to do that.â
- me, a person who definitely has the time to do that but also has terrible time management skills and most likely to just spend 4 hours getting absolutely nothing accomplished instead of the hundred other things I could and should be doing
I feel personally attacked by the accuracy of this post.
