Martha and Yaz Cross Over Head canons
Since leaving the TARDIS for the second time, Martha had run a support group for ex companions on earth along with Micky. In the 10 months that the doctor was gone Yaz finds the group and tentatively goes to a few meetings and meets some of the other old companions. She meets Martha, who is the first person to really understand what she feels for her ‘person’
She tells Martha all about how the doctor is now, what they’re like as a woman and Martha and her both swap stories, both with the recognition of their feelings towards the doctor. To be honest it’s like they know different people but at the same time it’s the same bond and the same love for that person who completely changed both of their lives
Martha understands what it’s like to miss the doctor so she helps Yaz in whatever way she can, calling in contacts from UNIT and asking friends if any of them have heard anything. In truth she is always worried about her old friend, so when Yaz suddenly stops coming to meetings she breathed a sigh of relief
Martha always said that she didn’t think she could meet the doctor again as it would just be too painful. But one day once Yaz mentions the group to the Doctor when they are back travelling and she sees how much the Doctor clearly misses Martha. So, one Sunday when Jack is on the TARDIS with them, they go to earth, to the park and watch Martha and Micky play with their children. Although Martha doesn’t see they are there, just as they leave she thinks she hears that familiar sound. The next time Yaz gets back to her flat, there is a simple note waiting from Martha that just says ‘thank you’
