Has anyone else considered that since Captain Marvel is set in the 90’s we could potentially have a Peggy Carter cameo.

According to Antman, Janet Van Dyne was lost in the Quantum Realm in 1987. Not too long after Hank goes to SHIELD when he finds out they are trying to recreated Pym Particles and she seems to be going strong.

Haley has said she would love to continue to play Peggy. So this is a perfect chance.

I hope that if they do a flashback in Antman and the Wasp, that they find a way to have Janet be the one who names the Avengers. It would be a great call back to the comics. It would be pretty easy. Maybe she, Hank, and Nick Fury or even Peggy Carter, could develop the idea of the Avengers Initiative. But it just doesn't work out and the idea gets dropped when Janet gets trapped in the Quantum Realm. Especially since Nick Fury already has a name, "The Avengers Initiative," in his first appearance in the post credit scene for Ironman it would make sense if it was an idea they had before and but maybe it didn't work out, but when Ironman showed up they thought they would try again. Come on Marvel here is another easy Fan Theory for you guys.
