S4E16 “On the Head of a Pin” Extended Scene

So just in case some people haven’t seen this, I’m posting the full unedited scene. When Castiel is talking to Dean before he starts torturing Alastair, there is a lot more dialogue than what was released in the final cut. After watching this, it made a lot more sense as to why Dean reacted the way he did.

Jensen is PHENOMENAL in this scene, going from terrified of what he was in Hell, to guilty about people they’ve lost, to stone-cold killer who needs to do this even though in his heart he doesn’t think he can. I am very sad they didn’t include of a lot of the footage that’s on here, but sharing it with the masses is what I can do, so here you go!

i feel like i still can't believe how important the confession scene was to both jensen and misha??? literally jensen using the words "monumental" to describe it and saying it's something that's gonna stay with him forever and saying the day they shot it was "misha's day" and praising bobo's writing and asking a crew member to record his reaction cause he wanted to remember it as jensen and not just as dean and also misha talking about it constantly and how jensen was totally on board with it and talking about castiel's "homosexual declaration of love" and liking his tweet from fucking 2013 and how both of them made acting choices and poured so much heart into it and the fact that the handprint was their idea and how they talked about the impact/reaction it would get and im- :(
