Okay, I’ve been playing a lot of Donkey Kong 64 on my Wii U and I’ve realized just how important Chunky Kong, Tiny Kong, and Lanky Kong are to the series and that they should be kept alive through Smash Bros.
Diddy Kong as we all know did not exist until Rare created him as Donkey Kong’s sidekick, and he is surely a fan favorite, but what about these three? Why have they not gotten the same treatment as Diddy Kong. Surely this has been seen as an injustice for a while and I have to say I’m going to get on the bandwagon for their return in any way possible. They deserve that much at least and it would be amazing to finally have another 3D Donkey Kong game.
Of course one of the best ways to see their return would be through Super Smash Brothers For Wii U and 3DS, and or possibly the next installment of the of Smash. If the lack of Donkey Kong Characters isn’t enticing enough, then I have no idea what will inspire Nintendo to use the Rare’S intellectual properties. It’s been a long time coming and their return will be very welcome after all Donkey Kong 64 is one of the three games brought back to the virtual console, so why would they not be seen as hints when there is only three.
My personal choice, if we were to get only one of the Kong’s would be Lanky Kong. I believe it should be him at first because he is one of the more unique characters and I would love to see him handstand on the stage and hit people with his lanky arms!
Of course this doesn’t out weight the fact that I do want K Rool in the game over any other DK character, but it’s fun to speculate and bring up these cold hard truth’s.
King Hippo!
Okay DLC is a Reality when it comes to Super Smash Brothers, but what series are becoming more popular?
Why of course Punch Out has become a bigger hit in the past couple of years, no doubt some of that extra fame could be due to the protagonist of the series, Little Mac appearing in Nintendo’s All-Star Game. I believe putting Little Mac into Smash Bros, was an amazing idea because in America at least Punch Out has always been a fan favorite.
One thing that has been missing in Smash Bros for the entirety of its lifespan has been the bad guy’s. Villains have been lacking in every iteration of Super Smash Brothers and adding more should be top priority in the next smash. I know that it’s probably a long shot, but I feel like King Hippo would fit extremely well in the game, just because of his obscure nature.
Heavy weight characters are also lacking in the game, and King Hippo is quite possibly the definition of heavy weight.
With Little Mac having terrible air game, King Hippo would probably have similar qualities in that area, but he could possibly be the heaviest character, thus making him the hardest to knockout. That could play into his style in the game.
To be honest I just want more heavy characters and villains, so why not bring in some iconic people to antagonize the cast of Smash Bros? I would be very excited to see him in smash and it is possible that we will be seeing him due to the character ballot. I know he is not up to King K. Rool Status, but he definitely deserves a shot!
DK Representation In Smash!
I have been recently playing DK 64 reliving my childhood and realizing how there needs to be more Donkey Kong character in Smash! I fully realize that some characters like lanky might never happen, but they really need at least Dixie Kong and K. Rool. Definitely bringing them in would be an amazing thing for them to do because let's face it the DK series is lacking too, too much. I thought Nintendo releasing Tropical Freeze meant we would have a new rep, considering Sakurai said games with new installments were top priority. I believe this didn't stretch to the DK series because there wasn't even an assist Trophy for the game. Hopefully we get news soon on this matter.

My Thoughts on Assassins Creed Syndicate.
First off I love it. I’m excited to see the team’s portrayal of 1868′s industrial Revolution!
There is one thing I wish they would have done however and that is making Jacob Frye’s Sister Evie Frye (I think that’s her name) the main character. I found out that she is going to be playable for about 20% of the story, and I’m excited for that, but I feel they missed an opportunity at making her a bigger part of the playable story.
Maybe there is more to her being in the game than we all know so far? I mean I would not be surprised if they went the route of making them both playable, like some missions will be Jacob and the other missions her. I feel like she is going to be playable in one way or another.
I do however hope that she is not playable through DLC, which I know it is the most likely way she will be playable. I just am really hoping that they do not do anything like that to us. I’m tired of gaming companies taking advantage of everyone with DLC, and having her be playable as DLC will honestly feel like an insult. As in I would be very disappointed playing with her only 20% of the story and then having her own separate campaign as DLC would be annoying. The only company that has been doing DLC right is Nintendo and we all know they are doing a great job with that!
The game-play will be the most important part of course, so if they work on what they already had with Unity I am sure they will have an incredibly smooth game coming.
I am very excited and I hope they do not mess this one up. I still enjoyed Unity, but I did realize the myriad of problems it brought along with it.
