Before the ceremony just as you’re about to take your seat the father of the bride approaches & asks you to help with something. You agree & follow. To your surprise he leads you away from the ceremony & to the edge of the forest, he then proceeds to pull out a hunting rifle that was hidden in the bushes & holds it to you saying

"You need to fend off the Grinch".

He explains that he has laid out some traps throughout the forest but someone needs to make sure the Grinch doesn't make it to the ceremony & object. When you try to question him he doubles down & pleads with you "Your partner/friend agreed to cover when people ask where you are. I KNOW he's out there. Please, its just for the ceremony. My baby’s day needs to be perfect!!"
