EP 5: Been a Minute

After the last time Sace talked to @ccbrim they’d just been communicating through email. Being completely honest, she was jealous of how openly he flirted with with that new rapper on IG. Things got crazy between the both of them, but she was still his manager at the end of the day, so business had to be handled. However, she did miss communicating with him in person. That was her lil baby, so she stood on the elevator, up to the studio, in hopes this wasn’t a bad decision.

Before walking in she took a deep breath. Peeking her head in, Versace smiled when he saw it was her. “Hey money maker.” She chuckled, and took a seat. “How are things going?”

Sace didn’t know what reaction to expect from Brim, but it wasn’t this one. “It’s not you tha’s for first fucking all.” She was beyond irritated that that he would ask that, and it made her want to slap him. “I got a random donor, because sorry ass niggas can’t step up.” She shook her head, and backed away from him. She thought they were making a little progress.

“Hey shut up.” Brim placed his finger on his lips. “I never said it was mine or was insinuating that it was somebody else’s in that type of way. You telling me you fuckin pregnant so what the fuck reaction you wanted from a nigga who likes you and hasn’t fucked you?” Brim didn’t care about her being fussy. He had about enough of that from her. “Sorry then sorry ass niggas couldn’t step up for you but I mean, I guess that’s cool you pregnant. You got a donor which means you wanted a child so.” Brim shrugged and now he was irritated that what she said may have been geared toward him. She acting like he was supposed to get her knocked up or something. “Damn Pregnant tho…” he scratched the back of his head. “I don’t know what else to say.”

Sace rolled her eyes when he placed his finger over her lips. She wanted to bite it off, but something in her made her just sit there. She wasn’t looking for him to say anything, but just wanted him to know. “Look, maybe we should just be friends, because right now we’re on two different life paths, and I don’t want to ruin that trying to do this.” She pointed beteween the two of them

“What if I’m cool with it?” He shrugged. “I ain’t planning on coming in between you and what you got going on, but I still like you. And i think you like me. Let’s see bout it.” Brim had. O clue what he was getting into but he wasn’t ready to let Versace slip away when he was just on the edge of getting her to be open with him. He wasn’t worried about children right now but who knows. He would support her regardless.

"You sure?" Sace asked, because he was openly saying he wanted to see where things could go. At this point she was a package deal, and he was willing to jump out on faith and take a chance on her. That made her feel something in her heart that shd hadn't felt before. Sace leaned in and gave him a kiss.

Brim haven’t seen Versace since the Day Party fiasco, so his facial expression was nothing short of surprised. He was slightly irritated though. He wanted to know why he hasn’t seen her and why they were only resulting to emails and business. He disliked being dismissed in that way especially when something was unsolved and not spoken about. It was almost like she wanted to skirt past feelings. That was fine for now though, she was standing there now.

“Say , gimme a few.” He allowed the engineer to take a break while he spoke with her. “Yea I guess.” He sighed and twirled his fingers in his loose blonde curls. “Been making money like you want, since that’s all we been discussin. You got more stuff for me to do?” He looked at her. Why did she have to be fine? Why did she have to come in looking edible? That irritated him too. Couldn’t she wear a business suit or something with some black slacks and normal black work pumps? He was thinkin.

“Most would love to be doing all the work that you’re doin. Especially with you being a new artist.” Sace was confused, because he knew that being apart of this business meant putting in the hours. She could tell by his mention of the emails that Brim was salty still. “Listen, what happened the other day can’t happen again. We have business so whatever we’re feeling we should be able to talk in person, and not put it online so I apologize.” Sace knew that putting it up on Twitter, but she was in her feelings about it all.

“You sayin it can’t happen again, but it didn’t stem from me. It stem from you.” Brim wasn’t going to sugarcoat anything for Sace. She was grown, they both were. “I feel if I am doing something that you don’t like, you can come to me and discuss it. I’m not ya son, I’m not ya flunky, I’m you artist.” Brim took her by the hand, “now…I accept your apology, but I want to know what we doin? You gonne be my manager? Or you going to be my woman? Cause the other day, could have sworn you were my woman and I’m not changing for a got damn person, unless thats the case. So if you not going to be real with me, then I’m going to do what the fuck I want, talk to who the fuck I want, and flirt with who the fuck I want, UNLESS….” he pulled her close and kissed her lips, “you cuffed by me.”

Sace loved when Brim bossed up, and put her in her place. It got her hormones running, and the fountain between her legs flowing. She was thrown off by his question, because it came across like she couldn't be both. However, when he kissed her all she could think about was the news she had to tell him if she really wanted him. "I'm pregnant." Everything with the sperm donor went good, and she was a month pregnant. She never talked to him about her wanting a baby, so she knew that it was going to be a shock to him.

Sace knew about everything that was going on in the media, and she knew the GG had been going through it. With dealing with Reggie, her career, her own stuff, she hadn’t gotten around to checking on GG. “Hey love.” She hugged her tightly when she finally answered the door. “How you feeling?” She walked into her residence.
