roman’s never believed in cinderella bullshit. fairytales just weren’t something his mother entertained him with. he’s never found entertainment in the lot of it. love at first sight ? of course not. roman is genuinely, deeply, on a level that is not human, regretting everything he’s ever thought. this boy defies it all just by existing. and, god, if that isn’t scary. ❝ two dozen sound perfect. ❞ and, no, roman is not accepting questions at this moment for how his breathing hitched at peter’s cuss, thank you. ❝ i just… ❞ he pauses, again, awkwardly, watching peter like a goddamn weirdo, ❝ uh, y’know. some people need a flowery punch in the face. ❞
Peter finishes collecting the flowers and heads back behind the counter. It’s then that he hears Roman’s breath hitch and he looks at him with slight concern. That combined with Roman’s pauses makes Peter start to suspect the other young man may be having a moment of sorts. “Do you need some water?,” Peter asks with a small tilt of his head. “I can’t say I relate to that, but I’d definitely prefer a flowery punch to a real one.”
