It's awesome that you're making your own gifs! i just have to ask though -- does it make you any less of an rph or any less helpful if you don't or can't? i run an rph blog and making gifs from scratch is really exhausting and leaves me not wanting to fill requests anymore sometimes. I do it when i need to and feel like it, but if gifs exist, i use them. am i wrong? should I quit the rph game for not making my own gifs?

i’ll admit, when thinking about this i was tempted to just close my rph because the idea of making my own gifs is just... i hate the idea of it tbh, but i convinced myself not to. i don’t think you’re wrong, but! if you’re going to use other peoples gifs, please please please credit!!! so many people don’t, don’t quit the rph game for not making your own gifs. but if you’re going to use other people’s you have to credit them! but, no i don’t think you need to quit!! just make sure ur mindful of who’s gifs u use, and that u might be asked to take ur stuff down! 

that as long and probs unnecessary, but ur still an rph and still helpful if you don’t make ur own gifs or can’t! i just, personally, felt like i have to make my own after talking to some gif makers,,,, as long as u credit and take down gifs if ur asked, ur completely good!!

after thinking a lot of things through, there are going to be one major change to svtrph.

and that is that from this point on i will no longer use outside resources when making my gif icons, after a conversation with a gif maker and thinking this over. i will no longer be editing other’s gifs when making my gif icons, and instead making them all myself to avoid upsetting any of the original content creators. meaning requests will become a lot slower, unfortunately. but i’d always rather make the creators happy, than make my resources carelessly!

i hope you all bare with me in the time it will now take me to fulfill requests, and i’m sorry to any gif makers i’ve upset in the ways i used to operate this blog. i hope everyone looks forward to a better svtrph!
