alhaitham was, perhaps to you, the most ostentatious scribe you’d ever met. with his choice in, and often lack of, words paired with his persistent poker face he couldn’t not come off as aloof and arrogant. this always seemed to be the truth whenever your paths crossed. unfortunately for you this happened frequently.

“you piss me off, scribe,” you could already imagine the way he was tearing you apart in his head. many times before he’s scolded you on the way you talk for he finds it to be ‘distasteful’.

“as of now? that’s acting grand sage to you. don’t get your panties in a knot, i’m resigning, but you should speak and act with more respect.” with hands crossed over his chest, he couldn’t seem less unbothered. not once had he ever wavered when faced with your anger; his display of uncaring typically made you even more upset.

“oh, shut it. you haven’t earned my respect! especially with your stupid uppity act. could you even just pretend to care about anyone other than yourself?,” and truthfully you already knew the answer. he didn’t like playing pretend.

“if it were a matter that deserved it then i would, but, your failed research application doesn’t. try harder next time.” he sighed as if he was the victim here. as if he didn’t reject any thought you’d ever think of. as if he wasn’t the one making your academic life, and future, so difficult.

“well, acting grand sage, you should think more about your students and less about yourself.”

“i think plenty about my students. unfortunately, this means i have to think a lot about you,” truly scandalizing to a man such as himself. how dare his thoughts be outside of the current novel he’s dissecting!! oh the horror!!

you paced back and forth across his, soon to be someone else’s, desk. hopefully someone that wouldn’t tear you to bits for putting forward a project on the bacterial life of the deserts pools. supposedly it was ‘too broad’ and ‘would yield no noteworthy results’ for the knowledge of Sumeru. he truly got under your skin like no one else. in what was your boldest move yet, you spoke up in a way you most certainly shouldn’t have.

“then maybe work to get me off your mind.” the chair he was thrown on screeched against the tiled ground before you found yourself on the floor, Alhaitham above you.

“perhaps you should help me.”

i posted something similar but deleted it. but when a person posts "do you let the political views of a breeder or buyer affect whether you buy or sell to them (sic)" and that person has homophobic political support messages on their page, publicly marked, it feels less in good faith and more like bait. it's frustrating because it has the potential to be a good topic, but when it is from an unsafe source, the likelihood it is meant to be educational - especially when the op doesn't want discussions on the post, just statements - gets critically low.

2) Nightcap (⭐️⭐️): as the daycare enforcer of bedtime, get ready for a good night’s sleep with your signature hat! if you can’t sew, no worries - you can use fabric glue, iron adhesive, or even hot glue if youre careful. these two simple tutorials can be easily adjusted for your own head size and design. 3) Ball Pit Lights (⭐️): i couldn’t find an official source or tutorial for these, but basically just make a small x-cut in each plastic ball pit ball and press an ordinary string of lights inside for an awesome feature [X]

4) Night Sky slime (⭐️): this is supposed to be for little kids but like. slime is awesome for everyone. so relieve some stress with this pretty starry goop :) [X]

5) Moon Phase clay (⭐️): using just polymer clay, theres tons of cool crafts and decor you can make. this source makes a lovely wall hanging with some string, but you could also make coasters, jewelry, magnets, or pins with the same first steps! [X]

My mom has been struggling a lot with arthritis, she can no longer walk without a walker and her physical therapist said that they're stopping sessions because they're no longer helping her. She needs a hip replacement surgery but needs to lose 45 more pounds before she can get it (she already lost 40 woo!) She absolutely hates saying shes in pain but I know she is and I inherited my stubborness from her so ive made it my mission to make sure she eats right. As a start I'm going to be making her a smoothie for one meal every day and other meals will be alternating between eggs, peanut butter toast, wraps, and salad (dinner would be more varied) as well as all snacks being fruit or veggies and a gallon of water per day. I don't know much about this sort of thing and I'd love some guidance.
