b. l. s. // comfort
she’s a self made woman — she had no bones of her mother to pull from what you see is all that she has made — she grew diamond bones and a titanium voice in the hopes she would not shatter. most girls from an early age used their mothers bones as crutches and carved abomination into their skin but she oh this walking heroine boiled liquid self obsession and swallowed swords hungry for her heart. with a cloud on her breath the shatterproof woman dreams of her daughter and knows deep in her blood that she would shatter her soul and section off all her bones to ensure her child never grows up with empty support.

i. curving marble spine. a staircase beauty. rising with purpose. yet you never climb. oh, disgraced graceless being. twisting in blunder. defaced. erased. yet never debased. ii. dark divine angel. an untouchable silhouette of heaven. transparent skin. i see, beneath. forbidden reach. hush little scandal. blind faith. the devil whispers. surrender. forever. but oh, she could never. iii. serene ascending heart. soaring with glory. destination; love-touched. toppling. sturdy shy blush. delight in the light. speak for the weak. lovely it is, that you seek. oh, unabashed self glow. you are your own hero.

I am not glue; do not stick to me just to save yourself from crumbling.
b. l. s. // Instead Stick WITH Me
there is strength in forgiving someone without telling them.
b. l. s. // forgiven
caress your inner thigh bleed with compassion for your gentle breaking and breathing — you, tendermine are alive.
b. l. s. // Stroke of Self Love
a grabbing caress and slippery eyes I’m here in the dress (you wanted me in) and you’re here dripping lies.
b. l. s. // crawl to me
she breathes butterflies. they boomerang and swallow her whole. darling, she brought this on herself. nerves of crinkling glass. tardy shards filling her mouth. she chews on her shredded tongue. glittering rivulets of blood, sequined by sharp agony. slipping down her chin. now, crunching on the hard stare of strangers. quenched on the taste of their distaste. bee stinger fingertips. trailing acid honey in her wake. a modern day spider. trapping victims in a sticky web. but she is stuck there also. bound by her predatory skin. an awakening shivers down her spine. wicked wench. now, she swallows squealing butterflies.
b. l. s. // Miss Ruination
electric velvet lips lick my pulse oh you false savior, sizzle my hips searching fingertips oh you electrocute my innocence.
b. l. s. // persecuted
— chip chip chip — wooden skin hacksaw to her neck carving screeching burden and splintered slivers of longing logging flogging in her ribcage — chop chop chop — rotted-through blushing claw-marked throat chiseled with deep sorrow and sinking chasms of breaking shaking raking along her spine spilling moss scented STOP STOP STOP
b. l. s. // the decapitation nation
You are a masterpiece. Not in the way you are framed, But in the way you unbind people.
b. l. s. // Release Me
I like feeling kissable; yet why do I only feel that way when I am the one swallowing my own tongue.
b. l. s. // These Lips aren’t just for kissing
he bites your tongue and calls it desire he snaps your spine and calls it devotion.
b. l. s. // Deadly Doting
he won’t stay true to his promises and he’ll lie in the belly of his falsehoods gorging on your crumpling, gnawed-on resignation.
b. l. s. // False hope
boiling blood on the stove. serve your tragedy. darling, i know it’s scalding to swallow. don’t force sweetness in your roiling agony. it only pollutes; never dilutes. let it stain your teeth. make your tongue squirm, like your heart is. i promise you, the taste will soon dissipate.
b. l. s. // give it time
when i cried i revealed the girl i desperately tried to hide.
b. l. s. // unlocking
hold my heart, i say be gentle, i say, its beaten badly, they say all hearts experience beats and defeats, i say defeat? they repeat you lost? they say not everything, i say as my hand cradles blood drenched devotion.
b. l. s. // Have Heart (if nothing else)
