Happy Holidays!
Here’s a sneak peek at Santa’s 2016 Naughty/Nice List.
Experimenting with a color palette while anticipating Jon Snow’s resurrection in season 6.
Happy Eternal Birthday to Honest Abe!
Drawing available as art prints, greeting cards, and phone cases here.
May the Holidays be with you
Thank you for following me and my artwork on Tumblr. I hope you enjoy your holiday celebrations and have an awesome 2016.
For this year’s holiday illustration, I assembled a still life from some of my holiday decorations (Obi-Wan was given to me years ago during a tree trimming party and Darth Vader is actually a phone — I don’t use it, but keep it around as objet d’art in my apartment), painted it all within an “Island of Misfit Toys” like environment, and added a touch of animation.
Cheers!
The top dogs are here!
I loved illustrating the Alphas spread for the Teen Wolf Bestiary, because it contains so many cool details: the Full Alpha fighting off a spear attack, the double spine of the Twin Alpha, and the opportunity to pay homage to Scott McCall as the no longer “rumored” True Alpha (shame on the Argents for ever doubting the existence of a virtuous Werewolf 😉).
Collect “Alpha Werewolves” as an art print for display on your walls!
Plus, now you can collect any spread from the Teen Wolf Bestiary at my online store: SwannSmithArt.com (in time for holiday gift giving and receiving around the world).
Take the Argents crest; they won’t mind.
I originally designed the elaborate Argent family crest to appear inside the Teen Wolf Bestiary, but then MTV asked to promote it to the cover. Brilliant!
You can now collect the “Argent Family Crest” as an art print for display on your walls!
Meanwhile, keep checking SwannSmithArt.com to see which Teen Wolf Bestiary spreads are currently available (two spreads are added each week through December 8, 2015 — in time for holiday gift giving and receiving).
Do you have any more pieces of the puzzle
Sorry, I only received the one puzzle piece from Teen Wolf to distribute. But keep searching #ToHellAndBack for the remaining pieces.
Hey Teen Wolf fans, here’s another piece of the #ToHellAndBack puzzle (45/100).
Keep searching Tumblr and Twitter for all the pieces. Have fun!
Bring Berserkers & Wendigos home for the holidays!
I’ll admit that every time I illustrated a “Werewolf in peril” for the Teen Wolf Bestiary I imagined that Werewolf to be a Derek Hale ancestor (how many times was Derek chained up, locked up, or beat up on the series? ¯\_(ツ)_/¯). But the Viking Werewolf flailing for mercy on his knees to a Berserker is a very disturbing image for me, because I refuse to see that Werewolf in peril as a Derek relative. Derek would take a beating, even if it could result in death, before pleading on his knees.
Anyway, you can now collect “Berserkers & Wendigos” as an art print for display on your walls!

The “gift” Stiles received :-|
Imagining a malevolent trick to illustrate for the Teen Wolf Bestiary’s “Nogitsune” spread was a challenge. Artistically savvy Teen Wolf fans may recognize that the pose I chose for the Nogitsune disguised as a young geisha is based on The Little Fourteen-Year-Old Dancer by Degas.
While Stiles’ Nogitsune was bad, hanging a “Nogitsune” art print on your wall is good!

Been doodling on the giant chalkboard in my kitchen. 😄
For everyone celebrating Thanksgiving, hope you have a wonderful day with family and friends!
No trick, Kitsune is here!
I illustrated this visual guide to the complicated mythology of Kitsune for the Teen Wolf Bestiary. Study the diagram and you’ll understand why Nogitsune Stiles can also be referred to as a “Yako” (malevolent) or “Kukan” (void) Kitsune. This spread is a handy companion while watching season 3B and beyond.
You can now collect the "Kitsune" spread as an art print to hang on your walls!
Meanwhile keep checking SwannSmithArt.com to see which Teen Wolf Bestiary spreads are currently available (two spreads are added each week through December 8, 2015).
Collect Nemetons & Fireflies now!
Illustrating this spread from the Teen Wolf Bestiary was fun. It required studying lots of big oak trees as reference for the Nemeton and firefly anatomy for the supernatural-ified (that’s a word, right?) insect.
You can now collect the "Nemetons & Fireflies" spread as an art print to hang on your walls!
Meanwhile keep checking SwannSmithArt.com to see which Teen Wolf Bestiary spreads are currently available (two spreads are added each week through December 8, 2015).
Kanimas, Kanimas, Kanimas!
Ah, the “Kanimas” spread is personally special to me, because it launched the Teen Wolf Bestiary into existence. I’m sure it’s also special for most Teen Wolf fans, because Jackson Whittemore — Colton Haynes — was spectacular bringing a Kanima to life on the show. (miss you Jackson/Colton 😢)
You can now collect the “Kanimas” spread as an art print to hang on your walls!
Meanwhile keep checking SwannSmithArt.com to see which Teen Wolf Bestiary spreads are currently available (two spreads are added each week through December 8, 2015).
Hang the Argent family on your walls!
While creating the Teen Wolf Bestiary I was playing the role of an Argent ancestor sketching and making notations in a journal of my supernatural findings. On the final spread, I got my Gerard on and boasted the family history and tricks of the Werewolf hunting trade. (btw, this was an act, I’m a hundred percent #TeamHale.)
Read more about my decisions for this spread here.
And hey, you can now collect the “Argent Family & Werewolf Hunters” spread as an art print to improve your wall decor.

Thank you to everyone who has served their country and especially those who made the ultimate sacrifice.
