So amalgamation swaps with Undying. Which means that in the genocide route, instead of being killed and then coming back to life, Alphys allows her body to be a conduit to slain monsters, allowing her to become even more powerful. Basically she just turns into an amalgam. If I ever drew this I'd base her design on Marie Curie from clone high. Giant and asymmetrical and scary, but cute
Meanwhile, instead of fused together monstrosities in the true lab, there are fallen heroes that have been revived, and who only live to fight. They are manifestations of monsterkind's rage. In the tp route, Chara has to calm them down, let them know there is no more need to fight. In this au I swapped Gerson and Rudy, and Kanako and Chujin. Going with the theories that Rudy and Kanako were sent to the lab and amalgamated in Undertale, Gerson and Chujin are now warriors waiting to be let out to fight in the war. With Chujin I think this is especially ironic cause that was kinda his goal in UTY with the serum.
Oh and in both cases, there's just different magic systems here than in Undertale, so it doesn't matter if 'x wouldn't work like that in undertale'

Area swaps!
Ruins <> New Home
Pretty typical Underswap thing. With Asgore in the Ruins, it's a much more lively place with more NPCs just, willing to talk. Meanwhile New Home is a lot quieter and somber. Lot less people around. Toriel's house is empty of people unlike Asgore's was in Undertale
Snowdin <> Hotland
So the typical thing for US takes is to have Snowdin be a Summer themed forest area. I'm gonna go with something similar to that, but a little more based on the aesthetic of Hotland. More orange rock, lava, and brimstone. Imagine if a nature reserve was in Hotland. Also it's now called Burntout Town. Meanwhile, Hotland is now Coldsea
Waterfall <> True Lab
This is more of a unique thing. Based on the Undyne Alphys swap. Waterfall is a much more technological area. Horror themed, lotta mist around. Meanwhile Undyne's lab isn't so much a lab as it is a sacred den housing the fallen warriors.
Oh also I'm swapping the echo flowers and save stars/determination. Mostly just an aesthetic change, ties into other Waterfall characters like Undyne, MK, and Temmie swapping with DT related characters, Alphys, Asriel, and the golden flowers
Riverperson Rivers <> Core
Based on the River Person Gaster swap. The Core area will be a warm spot in Coldsea, with weird winding rivers that don't make sense. You'd need to travel there by boat. Oh also raves happen there cause it's kind of a trippy area
Instead of a boat, Gaster uses a train, whose design is based on the Core. Gaster Followers usually appear on the train as little helpers, different depending on your FUN value.
Still need to think about what I'm going to swap the Undertale Yellow areas with. Might swap the deep Ruins with the judgmental hall. Maybe. Definitely gonna swap the Dunes with the Ketsukane house. Might swap the Mines with Steamworks

I mainly swapped this because I thought the outfit would look cute on her. Also whip because, hot. Also she kinda seems kinky in Deltarune. And Amethyst reference
Oh also that one rabbit guy that judges her swaps with the faun that judges lesser dog. And instead of building snowmen, after you spare her she's taking a bunch of baby rabbits out for a walk

Also she was friends with Clover insteada enemies with Integity. Prob why she's in the Ruins, to help out the next child that falls
Martlet's role is half royal guard half handyman. So that's what Dalv is here. I like to think the lupine guard get horny for him cause he's like. Sweet man, and they are rabbits. Also I like to think even in his terrifying Zenith Dalv form, he'd still be treated like a sweet, cute guy

Papyrus: Has canon Papyrus' personality, though is more stressed out due to knowing about resets
Sans: Has canon Sans' personality. He mostly tries to stave off his sadness with food, friends, and jokes. Isn't aware of resets. Technically part of the royal guard, though his role is moreso to keep public moralle up than to hunt humans down
Gaster: River person's role. Train conductor of the underground. Sans and Pap's father
Muffet: Owns a maid cafe. Likes to keep her workers in chastity
Donut guy: Works for Muffet. Her husband?????? Red bird's role
Asriel: MK's role. He's a young adult. He wants to join the RG but has been repeatedly denied. Like 8 inches before he started working at Muffet's
Alphys: Still need to figure out her deal. Probably a similar personality to UT Alphys but with a facade of confidence. Like 5 inches
Shyren: Aaron's role. She's a boxer. She and Blooky are still buds, just very distant because both are busy pursuing their own careers
Dess: She and Rudy are in Gerson's role. She and Azzy would be friends. She'd get up to trouble meanwhile he's her moral compass
Carol: She and Noelle are sorta like Alvin from Deltarune. Both are religious priests
Cat Dummy: Ruins Dummy in Mad Dummy/Mew Mew's role. They're a fighting dummy Alphys dressed up. Mostly just quiet
Undyne: I'm undecided whether to make her a full on mad scientist, or to have her be passionate, but also self hating and doubtful
Napstablook: Keeps their personality from Undertale. Small dick. Probably like, 4 ish inches?
Catty: RG01 role. Often takes advantage of her position, especially with Bratty around. Like stealing burgers whenever Burgerpants is in Hotland
Grillby: Serious man overlooking a very silly group of characters. Normal sized dick
Toriel: She's sadder and less social than UT Asgore. Lotta conflicted feelings about him
