Morelia Forums - A user posts an update on some stunning, extremely aberrant striped carpet pythons hatched out at the beginning of 2014. They’re thriving, growing, and looking nicer with each shed. Hopefully breeding these guys out in the next few years will prove this gene genetic.

So I never made a post about this, but last week I ended up rescuing a leopard gecko. Basically my BF’s mom’s coworker was looking to give her leo, plus all his supplies, away for free and contacted me because she knew I had reptiles. Long story short I am very weak so now I have a leopard gecko ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Poor guy was being kept in a 5 gallon tank on sand with only a light for heat. They said he hadn’t been eating for a while, but once I got him settled he ate for me just fine (it’s almost like having appropriate housing conditions makes a difference, go figure!). He’s already gained a few grams!

I haven’t picked a name yet, but I’m leaning towards Lemon Pepper.
