Sometimes I take a look at my life and I’m just like. Wow. I really set goals, stayed devoted to them through thick and thin and now the fruits of my labor are showing in every which way. If I listened to the people saying to stay comfortable and always be a victim and give up when things are hard and self improvement is bad, I’d be miserable today. Still stuck in the same spot but a little older a lot more salty. When you figure out what your dream self and dream life are, you better make that your main priority day in and day out, ignore all of the distractions (of which there will be MANY), and stay devoted. You will thank yourself and the results will be so much more satisfying than you realize.

I do find it rather gruesome how they memefied the journals and love letters of a dying man. It feels very strange to me to watch people discuss the spectacle in their Nope reviews only to make no resolution towards curing their addiction of it. Isn't there something aggravating about being related to against your will? Don't relate! You can't understand! But humans relentlessly do, whether they understand or don't, and to be related to is to be seen naked - to have someone come to the conclusion that you're more or less the same as them, and there's nothing distinct about your anguish. Which feels like a violation when you didn't ask to be seen, and more humiliatingly, they're right.
